Oh god Damage system

Can this get fixed? This gets rid of alot of tactics in all fights in HGN, somtimes I'll flank two people...I'll shoot somone with a rediculous amount of armour and then he turns around and just pew pews me, its getting beyond annoying...I'm no LUA expert but cant we just increase the damage of Headshots to somthing stupid, around...10000000 So NOONE can survive a HEADSHOT? The only thing that can kill with one Headshot is a Shotgun, and you have to be extremely close to them.

Hard to tell who shot who when someone snipes someone with a rifle from 100 meters away because headshots are insta-kills.

A bleeding system would be great (Forgive me if there already is one, I'm lucky enough not to have been shot at yet.)

But some helmets would be able to block fire from small calibre rounds, IE, an exoskeleton would probably be able to protect you from a Markov round to the head (Though you might be knocked out)

Well in this game mode everyones bone structure is made of steel so headshots dont hurt them that much.

Silver has access to the logs.  Although I don't think Silver wants to be bothered every time someone dies and the victim shouts RDM.  I also doubt an admin would want to always have to ask Silver in the first place.

STK, Works in that way.. If it was STRP he had to RP the the headshot.
And anyway, Increasing that damage would basically make EXO's one hit one kill.

I dont think anyones really understanding my point here, I had a prime example when I was a Dutyer, okay...Freedomers, attacking Millitary base, I went in and there where two of them lined up outside the Bunker in a breaching style, so I shot one until he then turned around, shot me a bit, though he then died and his friend joined the fight...I simply turned to him and blew his head off, if it werent for my Exoskeleton then I wouldnt've survived, but it gets tedious at how it turns into an Unreal Tournament style of deathmatch aswell, the only thing that can really inflict enough damage to replicate a One-hit headshot are SVDs, Vintorezs, FN2000s, Shotguns and Grozas. >_>

Actually most of the time I can hit people in the head at point blank with a mossberg and they survive (stalkers, not exosuit people)

That's the point. Who want's to STK when you get killed unless you have pinpoint CS:S accuracy, and a good gun.

I think the Damage System overall is alright, but just needs a few tweaks to fix the way point-blank headshots to a normal stalker never works with only one round, but I think people just need to roleplay their wounds a bit more, and not shrug off several bullets embedded into your torso and legs that hurt like a Mofo and impair your ability to perform on the battlefield.

Well... if they did that they'd have to make accuracy on everything except snipers drop dramatically so it's not boom, boom, boom, boom, 4 headshots and everyone is dead, don't work too well, i can headshot a guy with a Abakan at like 30 meters away easy, if accuracy went down, it could work. oh and mods need to actually work :P , only traders can add them, and they are permanent unless taken off by a trader, increasing accuracy would be a big thing, and would cost like 5K for 15%.... would make it balanced, it's even in CoP, i'd like to get a silencer and scope on my Abakan :P

No, this is where roleplay comes in..Yes, it's fun to blow shit up and kill people but this is a roleplaying server right? As I said about the roleplaying part, ICly you shouldn't be able to survive a headshot from a SVD no matter how far away you are.

Though i belive these are valid points for uping the damage on headshots, I do have to say what if a guy runs up to an exoskeleton with a makarov and goes "Pew Pew" and shoots the exo in the head thus insta killing the EXO... We can't have ridiculus headshot damage because it is a chance for random people to abuse and RDM.

it's quite accurate, Black Kite + headshot = death ingame and in SRP
