I don't mind the uncannon characters unless they powerplay like idiots, cannon just gets in the way of plot/character development. The Stalker cannon is a base for the Rp, and it has to be built on to improve it.

Over the next week our administration is going to be working on rewriting the rules, gameplay and aspects, we may go as far as a full faction wipe because right now, not faction is "ok".

Faction wipe. Meaning FACTIONS. Unless I'm being too literal here, and Exile meant something other than what he said.

And on Canon. Yes, it is important. No, it should not be as strictly enforced so that it's exactly like STALKER. If it was, I'd go and play Shadow of Chernobyl. It's probably more fun, too. 100% of the shit that happens on the server is uncanon. Just because something didn't happen in the games is no reason to blow your top off. None of our characters are canon. All the things that happen in the server are UNCANON. Because we're not playing STALKER. Canon should only serve as a guideline, as previously stated. The only canon stuff that needs to happen is TIMELINE, ENVIRONMENT, and MAJOR DETAILS. First two are completely self explanatory. Major details = Factions, weapons, locations, mutants, etcetera. The basic stuff that everyone knows.
This isn't aimed at Dug/Stone, but to canon in general. Argue if you must, but this is bare bones opinion and the only comments I will have on the topic.
The only uncanon bullshit that I completely disagree with so far is female characters being so common.

This reform NEEDS to happen. STALKER has degenerated, degraded, dissolved over time. There have been a lot of changes that have taken away from the experience that it once was. Female characters as stated before. Last year, ZERO fems existed. ZERO. Factions have slowly spiraled out of control. In the days of old, when Nines lead DUTY, and someone else lead Freedom. There were almost daily conflicts, and faction battles were common. Tensions were high, the risk of being killed was almost certain. STALKER used to be one of the best experiences in RP that I ever had. I don't know exactly what happened, but now it's a little less appealing.

EDIT: I remember my first days in Duty, every single one of them was tense, you would expect to get killed any minute. People would shoot at you and you would run for your life or you would be shooting at them.

We need to get that fear back to create the atmosphere again. Right now it's still sort of fun but it definitely is pretty far from the STALKER games.
