Stalker RP is temporarily "shut" for overhaul

Lately things have not been too great on SRP over the past year things have started to go spiraling out of control to the extent where people have changed it into something it is not. This is S.T.A.L.K.E.R Roleplay, not female infested cyber-whore dm dupe town. Over the next week our administration is going to be working on rewriting the rules, gameplay and aspects, we may go as far as a full faction wipe because right now, not faction is "ok". Somewhere along the line SRP was torn from it's roots which made it fun and enjoyable and some people really took the piss, that's going to stop now.

Most factioners should be ashamed of their commitment to their job in your factions, all have been wasting away due to lack of activity (on the server) and faction roleplay (Patrols, training, raids etc) Sitting in your base and passiving does not count for shit, this isn't half life 2 roleplay where you do jack shit, this is STALKER, a hostile zone in ukraine.

Also agreed. I don't see why the server needs a shut down, though. I think it would just be simpler for the admin team to start cracking down on things like this. Example, people needing a authorization for female characters, and abolishing cybering. Perhaps the faction leaders can help too, by closing their applications until the other factions also gain members, and one is not overpowered. We need change and commitment to our ways.

Its not as simple as that, there are alot of issues, thus its going to take some time and planning to eradicate them.
The admin team cant concentrate on that AND the server.

The reason I as a faction leader encourage ALOT of passive roleplay, it is beacuse this is a roleplay server. Character development is one of my primary concerns, for everyone. Simply beacuse almost every "battle" roleplay is always followed by massive bitching, and this just drains everyones will to play. I've also found in Freedom, that people don't much like patrols or training. So i've listened to them and cut back on it.

If the server gets wiped, thats not going to help peoples activity. May help in the subject of mega powerd bandits robbing every stalker they lay eyes on, and mega wealthy traders sucking up everything. But why can't you just target those players, that would cause alot of bitching, but so would a server wide wipe.

When good roleplay is happening Steel, cannon has to take a backseat to ensure that the good roleplay continues and flowers to its best.

And better, and more interesting roleplay can happen when you don't take cannon as law. Cannon in my opinion functions as guidelines.

I seriously doubt it will get that far, admins can always step in and put a stop to stop this particular roleplay. From what i've seen alot of this uncannon roleplay comes from the admins themselves.

On a side note, Jackal is right, we even had NINJA it was so bad at one time. Tasker, you are right in the sense that canon should function as a guideline, but we have let people violate that guideline for too long. If people are going to take advantage of our patience and lax attitudes, the administration team will come down hard on you. By hard, I mean Stalin hard, with an iron fist!

In my Opinion, the Passive I've seen is fine, the only problem, the Characterbase. Ex- Monoliths and C-Con Agents I can see Canon, but characters that try to pull Flesh characters and Humans that turn into Bloodsuckers, That pisses me off. Why everyone else has to suffer also pisses me off. And a wipe, would yes, probably make everyone leave SRP, including me, after years of work, yeah, You would leave too.

99% OF THESE CHARACTERS ARE ADMIN CHARACTERS WHY DOES NOBODY UNDERSTAND THIS.
