Which is never coming out. We're not going to be getting a shit load of new players any time soon guys. Maybe during winter break but with finals coming up for a lot of people the odds of suddenly seeing 10 more people on the server are minuscule.

Facepunch does not like RP servers, it is similar to how posting RP stuff on the Specialists' board would get you flamed. That will do more harm than good, especially since the last person who ran the thread started flaming people back and generally being an idiot instead of looking like a mature, organized person.

Everyone I know and myself included doesn't go to Facepunch to look for RP servers since every thread I've ever seen on FP advertising RP either gets flamed due to edrama between various people/general hate by most of FP's community about RP servers (which is extremely likely to happen given HGN's shit reputation amongst everyone) or is ignored and disappears, therefore not adding new people. So I think I do know what I am talking about when I say an FP ad isn't as helpful as you think.

I too say posting on FP would cause shit. Maybe get a few new players, but at the cost of a load of minges. Which would lead to losing players.

I've been with FP since 06, so I've seen what they do for enough time.

Also, I'm only there for News and Games Discussion. The other boards are too elitist or full of dick heads. Or both.

Anyway, I might work on making a video. Just need to fix some things related to Source recorder, at the moment it dosn't work when you go on the server.

A promo vid for RP doesn't work.
You either make a promo for the whole community or make a boringass RP video.

Showing off the script. Mutant Npc's, Weapons, Players, faction wars..etc would also be great. If someone saw that they'd wanna try it. It's kinda like a hook for the community.

Yes something big in stalker which I liked were faction wars, something that should be shown if a promo vid was made.

And then stalkers roam around everywhere
