Subject: Freedom Attack
Report: At 0300, a Loner armed with a LR300, and a Freedomer armed with a MP5 and Black Kite assaulted the complex. I proceeded to fend them off, using flanking maneuvers to outwit them once they had breached the compound. I searched their bodies, and found 1,000 rubles, as well as the Black Kite, MP5, and LR300. All are awaiting registry into the armory. McMillan out.

Subject: Freedom armory pictures.
Report: *A recording of a broadcast of a man asking for medical assistance in Freedom. McMillan's voice pips in.* "Sounds like they're in a bit of trouble. Going to let them distract themselves." A feed of video is seen from his tactical helm cam, recording him pulling himself over a brick wall, then falling over the other side. He crawls against the building, under the windows. He then perks up at a barred window, revealing the Freedom armory. He pans, getting a full view of his side of the room, and then ducks and runs under the windows. He then climbs over the wall yet again, saying over his radio, "In transit with intel, HQ."

Subject: Military Recon Report
Report: As ordered, I've scouted out the Military base's defenses and current garrison. I noted that a large amount of their garrison consists of jumpsuit and gasmask suits. They had the same suit as Soldier Zel has reported. Same armaments, apparently. I've got a hunch that they've got a large connection. I'll add more to my report in private.

Report: At 09:00 hours, strange noises could be heard all over the area. Some Stalkers went to investigate, however, I don't know what it was. Then, at around 19:00 hours, reports of a possbile Controller was received, although this is not confirmed. I reccomend that there will be posted double guards, if there really is a Controller.

Report: A single Freedomer was injured and taken captive during a patrol today, the Major was unable to see to him, and appointed that I do so in his place. I stabilizied the Freedomer and patched up his wounds, to ensure his survival for questioning. I questioned him a bit myself, though I didn't get much. What I did find; Freedom has recently gone through a power-struggle. Their former leader has been demoted to a rank called "War-Dog", and a new leader named "Joel" was appointed. A man named "Goose" remains the second-in-command. I also discovered that Freedom has little to no excess supplies. They only have what their soldiers carry with them. The Freedomer also told me his name and rank. Raikov, a War-Dog. I have further information, but it should be discussed in private with a high-ranking officer.

Report: A lone Militant assaulted our compound, the front gate to be specific. He walked down the road leading into the compound, firing wildly from the hip, he was brought down easily by myself and the other soldiers on station. His weapon had broken down to the point of uselessness by the time we retreived it, and upon further inspection the Militant turned out to be zombified. Also witnessed was a Controller lurking around the front entry, the soldiers with me during this sighting were not equipped well enough for us to confront the beast, but he killed two Bloodsuckers who were also wandering in the general vicinity of the gate, and hauled them off to some unknown location. His lair may be nearby, as suggested by how quickly he was able to move the corpses away and return. In addition, a man in a black trenchcoat wielding a SIG-550 assault rifle exchanged gunfire with the soldiers stationed at the gate. This man was eventually killed by a Stalker who snuck out of our compound and flanked him.

Subject: Ecologist help, KIA and wounded men
Message/Report: Today, an Ecologist asked for our help with some research. We were supposed to protect him. I assembled some men and went off to help him. He was going to measure something in the garbage, radiation and psy levels I believe. On the way over to the garbage, we saw a Controller. We didn't engage, leaving it alone. When we arrived at the garbage, we noticed that the Military was there as well. While 'Geist' was up in the crane, where he were placing a detector, the Controller attacked the Military. They were able to kill, which means that there is one less Controller to worry about. All of the sudden, 'Geist' were teleported away by an anomaly, ending up in the Red Forest.
Only moments later, we were attacked by a large group off blind dogs. I believe that there was more than 20+ of them. We pulled back to the base, but not without consquences. On the way back, half of the squad was killed, and myself and Recruit Nikolaj Benioff had been severely injured. I was able to patch Nikolaj up, before I fell unconsious myself. When I woke up, I noticed that 'Geist' were patching me up. Both Nikolaj and myself are recovering from the wounds at this moment.
These are the names of the men lost: Soldier Andriy Ovseenko, Soldier Davyd Litvin, Senior Soldier Yaroslav Gorobets.

Report: A small squad consisting of three men, in addition to an Orion Mercenary, was sent out to investigate rumors of increased Freedom activity. Acting upon information discovered, the squad managed to sneak into Freedom's sectorial headquarters, and set up an ambush. The base was empty at the time. An emission occurred not longer after the squad took positions, and a Freedom squad ran into their occupied building, likely seeking shelter, a battle quickly ensued. The victor of the battle is undecided, as both sides suffered casualties. The squad leader and one of his men returned with injuries, claming the third soldier and Mercenary as casualties.
Casualties (As stated by the OiC): Senior Soldier Ivan Kuznetsov, Mercenary "Mosquito".

Report:Well, Geist and I were on patrol around the road and swamp area, we came to the hill the overlooks freedom and thought to do some Recon. From what we saw, it seems that Freedom has fortified it's gate, built a watchtower and equipped it's soldiers with high grade suits and guns, two contacts had a Beril and a Skat. After being there for a few minutes, the Freedomers started to open fire, Geist returned fire, and a few stalkers, who had apparentley been sent by the Army showed up. Cnsidering our position, and the fact we were well armed and in equal if not superior numbers, we decided that we had to engage the Freedomers if we were to leave.
I managed to get one, Geist and the stalkers took out the rest, it seems they arent as effective at long range combat as we thought, even with their Nato guns. I was taken down near the end of the fight by the Skat, Geist dragged my ass back to base, we won the engagment, me being Injured was the only casuality that we suffered, I guess I was the commanding offcier for the fight. . .

I do not mind if you don't salute us at the front gate due to the code stating "Do not salute out in the open" that's perfectly fine, however, instead of saying "Hey there, Krill" it would be more professional to acknowledge the officer by saying "Hello, Junior Sergeant"... Subject: OP Report
Message/Report: Part 1 of my report concerns an engagment in the train tunnels. Under my command, Troll and Wolf investigated the activity. Through the passing time, a large group of miscellanious stalkers arrived, aswell as a large Military Squad, and thanks to Wolf's Marksmanship and another stalker's, we managed to breach what was a Monolith Stronghold of sorts, blowing up a generator to open the door.
The military breached and cleared out the living inhabitants. . . and then some um. . . Robots showed up. . . yeah we were confuse as hell. Flying Buzz saws and a three legged attack. . . thing, they were dispatched quite easily. The Duty and Military force entered the tunnel and sweeped the whole area, a console was destroyed, something about a "Re-animation" Broadcast. . . but that was stopped on destruction of the console. We then found a sealed up artifact, thanks to Troll's technician skills we managed to get it open, the colonel attempted to grab it, but didn't succeed. . . After a retreat and the Monolith compounds. . . self destruction, we talked with the military. Apprarentley we had no use for the artifact and the fact that the colonel marched over had given him the right to take it, we didn't hand it over. I sold it off to a passing trader, didn't get alot for it. . .
Second part of the report concerns stalkers. Seems rookies are getting a litle headstrong and have been firing at us, but Wolf quickly put them down. . . oh and I got a shiny new colt.

Report: Last night a group of three heavily armed stalkers rushed into the duty base, i did my best to stop them, but i was outnumbered and outgeared, so i figured an engagement would be devastating.
They started recruiting rookies for their "revolution" and with promises of great rewards in form of weapons and equipment, a large number of rookies followed them. I payed one of the remaining rookies to follow them and try to find out as much as he could before returning. When he did return, he was stripped of everything he had, and he told me they moved away from the base to a hidden location, were they aimed their guns at everyone, and told them to drop all their gear on the ground and then leave the area, the stalkers then grabbed all the gear and took off, my spy returned in fear of being shot. He told me that from his perspective it was disguised freedomers, but this has not been confirmed in any way.
Suggested Action: Shoot on sight, these men can be spotted on their suits, they all wear SKAT suits and are heavily armed. All rookies are to be warned to not follow these men as well.

Today a major training session were made, to train the men in breach and clear, data retrievement and long range support. The session were completed with moderate succes, as there were flaws here and there, especially in the hand signal parts. But overall, it was a great performance from the men.
I have also introduced "daily training". In this small, experimental, though hopefully succesful program, all personnel in Duty must do atleast 50 push-ups and 2 laps around the base a day. As said, this is for now experimental and there fore might not perfect. However I expect all soldiers in Duty to follow this program, no matter what. Radoslav, if you think your lies will work here. They certainly won't.
Radoslav, is to be escorted into the jail , he is to spend there a week.
The truth is friends. No one gives out an RPG for nothing in return.
What probably happened is that Radoslav asked one of his friends for an RPG.
His friend gave it to him. So he spiced up the story that Freedom attacked them.
There for giving him self the liberty of firing the RPG into their base.
And making us lose a man, a senior soldier, Osip, who was a good soldier in my eyes.
If he cared for the well being of his own, he wouldn't have led Osip into a death trap.
Nor would he have fired the RPG in first place if he respected me at all.

Deeply saddened that it has come to this, I don't see why anyone would think to do that in the first place... Osip was a fine man and a good soldier, his death will not be in vain.
*New Announcement*
I was wondering if we could hold a burial or crematory ceremony for Osip, perhaps this Sunday, it seems well deserved for a man of his stature...
*New Announcement*
As most of you know, the other day, when the Tark attacked the sector, I was hit by it and I received a fracture in my right forearm. It has been concluded that it is a compound fracture because it eventually broke the skin, it has been set but I still need around three weeks to rest. This frustrates me a fair amount, I still hope to observe training and help out with other activities. That is all.

Eagle Outpost (Nest) Attacked By Zombies
Soldiers Present: Leonard Maskinsky, Kirill Leren, Vladmir Ivanov
Summary: Maskinsky, Leren, and Ivanov occupied Eagle Outpost. Shortly afterwards, a large wave of zombies began assaulting the building. Anywhere from 20-30 kills reported. No casualties. Maskinsky provided sniper fire with the SVD, Leren provided sniper fire with his VSS, and Ivanov covered the ladder and inside the building with his Abakan. Good teamwork. Shortly after the main wave, DUTY mortars fired into the area, killing remaining zombies.
Old Military Outpost Occupied by Cultists(?)
Soldiers Present: Almost all of the faction
Summary: A large force of "strange persons" attacked the main base but were dispatched quickly. The source was quickly located - the Northwest Corner of the sector, in the old military installation. Maskinsky and Ivanov were dispatched to recon the area, after a mortar bombardment destroyed most of the base. They discovered that the people inside were completely idle, and Lieutenant Colonel Polyakev ordered them to be eliminated. Their supplies were secured, and Sgt. Leren and a few men cleaned the base up.

Subject: Bloodsucker attack.
Message/Report: A bloodsucker recently attacked the Eagle outpost, present soldier were S-Sldr Leonard Maskinsky, and later on myself as backup. Maskinsky was able to hold off using his superior position and sniper, while the reinforcements, me, was making my way to rescue him, however, bloodsucker fled from the outpost, and attacked me around 1km from the outpost. Minor injuries were inflicted upon my chest, but mostly scratches from the beasts claws. I was patched up and brought back home by Svetlana and Maskinsky, who rescued me with a well placed sniper round i may add.
However, on the way back, we were attacked by multiple bloodsucker's, we belive they were two, but this is unconfirmed. With good teamwork we were able to hold off the attack, and the bloodsuckers fled after being shot.
End of report.

Subject: Todays Engagment with freedom.
Message: Today, while going to set up a minefield in the red forest, we were intercepted and engaged with a small Freedom force. Unfortunatley, we were taken by suprise and they had the high ground and cover, we were eventually forced to retreat. Upon reaching base we realised that Ivanov had gone down, and he was obviously back in the engagment zone with the enemy. Taking Trainees Adam Revka and Vladimir Krostnov aswell as Senior Soldier Draco 'Dice' Stellem, we moved around the enemy's position and sentry, flanking them to the point where we were in their rear. By the time they reacted, I had their leader at gunpoint, the Trainees had the sentry covered aswell as Dice having the third Freedomer, "Yuri" covered on my six. We found Ivanov secure and had been partially patched up by the enemy, after a strung out period of time, we managed to come to a peaceful solution and the Freedom sniper came out of hiding, no shots were fired and we had our man back. We let the Freedomers go back to their camp to leave the sector, and we returned to base to patch up Ivanov.
End Report
Also I finished my bloodsucker Skull Gasmask, if anyone wants one bring me a sucker head and I'll manufacture you some awesome head gear. Also, we put down all those mines so don't ask where they went, they are in Red forest.

Subject: Freedom Update
Message: So I found some stuff out about Freedom. THere was a leadership change a while ago, that Yuri Babikov is incharge now, so maybe Freedom will actually be a force equivalent to preschool kids rather than vegetables. *Two, they have a PKM mounted on the front of their base loaded and ready to kick ass, within acceptable range perameters of course*. Three, one of them kept trying to borrow money from me and other stalkers, just thought I'd mention that.
As a side note, it appears that Bandit and Mutant activities have increased in the Freedom sector. Controllers are now a common occurence, 'Ghosts' in psy affected areas, and Kranzer is running around along with minor Bloodsuckers killing rookies and stalkers alike. Also, it appears Bandits in that area are getting bolder as they attacked Freedom with a weapon capable of firing grenades.
That's my report, I'm at HQ right now, in my bunk, feel free to summon me for a personal debrief, or if you're a lower rank just ask me politley.

Another mercenary arrived, to help us get the captured mercenary back. We returned to find the people in blue sunrises being attacked by a controller, we retrieved the mercenary and proceeded to hide. A freedomer in a exoskeleton found us, I threw a frag grenade, and he injured J-Sgt. Radoslav with a 40mm explosive, though it did not explode at the range he fired. Radoslav managed to throw another grenade and order us to run. Myself and the mercenaries ran for our lives, and encountered the mercenaries captors fighting the controller, we continued running. Today, we were attacked by a lone Monolith at around 05:30 pm. After some shooting Krostnov was wounded. He was carried to safety and we continued the firefight. Eventually, Lishvic took the Monolith down with a well placed headshot.
Afterwards I ordered a patrol, where we got to see a bit of the surrounding area. We found a huge complex which is quite likely to house Military personnel. I suggest that all future patrols stays away from there. Later, still during the patrol, a bloodsucker confronted us in cloak mode, to which I ordered everyone to return to the base. No one was harmed, although we didn't get to the kill the hostile.
After only about a hour later, three Monolith fighters ascended from the base elevator. We engaged in a brief firefight, which lead to their retreat. None of ours were wounded, and I think I wounded atleast one of them. I put the base on high alert after the episode.
The Monolith and bloodsuckers are very much active in this area. So from here now on, until we have thinned out their numbers, all patrols must be authorized by either me or the Captain. Anyone who does not follow these orders will be faced with severe consequences.

Name: S-Sldr. Alexander Baranski
Subject: Hell on Earth
Message/Report:
At approximately 10:00AM, today, we came under attack. Zombified Stalkers and Zombies in general were being sent up the elevator shaft. I managed to loop around the rooms and head down the shaft myself, leaving them on the top level, there were around seven of them up there. As I hit the bottom, I was met by a group of mercenaries who were heading into an opening in the wall. Seeing as it appeared to be safe, I followed them inside. As soon as we went through this gap and descended an elevator, we came under attack from a variety of mutants and zombified things, some that I had never seen up until now. I continued on with them through this area, where most of these men fell to anomalies and relentless attacks.
Once out of the dangerous area, I attempted to gain access to the headquarters, but was forced back down the elevator and as I was descending and body landed next to me, a zombie I believe. I then moved from tunnel area all-together, heading for the outside. Moving through the forest area, I came across a vast group of snork mutants and blind dogs. I managed to climb to a safe area and take them out without so much as coming into close contact with them. I found a small camp-like area with a cave entrance in it, I was soon shunned away by a representative of a group named 'The Outcasts'. Moving away again, through the forest, I came into contact with more mutated beings and such.
Heading back towards the tunnel again, I saw a group in the distance, and waited for them to get closer. As soon as I realized what they were, I came under fire from them.
Details:
Four military personnel- One SVD, three assault rifles.
I moved well out of their way, showing no hostile actions towards them in any way. I waited for a thirty minutes, hidden up a tree, carefully scanning the area. After I had seen nothing for a while I headed back to the tunnel. Moving through the tunnel, I came under fire from the same for military personnel; recognizable by the SVD and four assault rifles. As I was about to be out-of-sight, I was struck in the back of my left arm by a small calibre round, but I continued to move, heading for the headquarters. The elevator was at the top of the shaft, so I called it down, then ascended up myself. All of the zombified stalkers were gone and a stalker was walking around, it appears he was the one, or part of the group, that cleared the headquarters.
I sorted myself out, as the bullet had only struck me at a glance, which I still wasn't exactly happy about. After this, I headed up onto the roof, then jumped down onto the grass to get a look at the area. I saw a military marksman on the crane, firing upon stalkers and other entities. I watched him for a while, not firing upon him. He then hopped down and re-grouped with his squad of four, and they headed back to through the tunnel and to their base. Later on, a helicopter moved in and landed briefly on their helipad, then moved back the way it came.
I'm sure as hell that the military knew my faction orientation at least the first time they began to fire upon me.
Statistics:
Snork x23
Zombie/Zombified Stalker x12
Bloodsucker x4
Unknown x4
That is what was confirmed killed, I tapped them in on my PDA as I moved..

The last elevator however contained a note.
*The torn note is sticked directly underneath the report, it reads:
Zone killer, we have a proposition for you, against freedom.
We can get rid of this vermin from our holy land, and in return we may leave you alone, or something better.
*The report is continued underneath
I dont know what to say really, the note speaks for itself.

Message/Report: We really need to establish a damn checkpoint down there. Boars just nearly got a stalker, which I'm patching up right now. And some Soldier, Dimitri Levenov or something was sleeping on his duty. He left 2 Abakans on the ground and lots of ammo... This is starting to get ridiculous. If enemies will siege us down there, we won't be able to get out, unless we'll go trekking in the mountains.

Weight the advantages and consequences against each other.
We would only be able to hold off minor attacks from this checkpoint, so its one advantage would be to able to repel minor attacks wthout getting holed up inside the tower.
The disadvantage would be that we're much much more open for a suprise attack from the checkpoint.
However, I am going to schedule daily patrols to scare off any bandits that are stupid enough to set up shop close to us, keep the area clear of mutants and keep a lookout for monolith activity.

Message/Report:
The delayed training session will be held this monday at 1900 hours, I expect all of you to be there and do your best, I have been way to sloppy for a few week's.
The session will feature a possible scenario where our elevator is broken, and we're forced to rappel down the mountain side to reach our goal, you will hear the rest at the briefing before the session starts.
Be prepared!
Further on, I received some very interesting intel from a stalker yesterday.
At the back of the freedom base lies a vent, which leads down into the monolith complex, the very same that can be accessed from the secret door in our elevator room.
If we ever manage to get inside, we can launch a suprise attack against freedom, they wont stand a chance.

Subject: Recruit Status
Report/Message:
Levenski, I am writing this is as a status on the recruites I am training currently. I made some simple drills and made the new recruit and one of the soldiers run the course that I used to make you do *Chuckles*. It is mostly muscle endurance. Gotta turn these pussies into soldiers. I swear one of them climbed off the wall and said "I think I chipped a nail". Anyways, the short and skinny is the troops are not prepared. If we are ever to engage Freedom to expand our borders out of this radio station or to try a harder feat and push Monolith back for some breathing room, we are going to need more time. I am planning on doing this muscle endurance course one more time and then I can train up their Stamina.
What I am planning on doing. After a few endurance and stamina training its off to firing range. Although I can shoot due to my military experiance, I don't think I can teach it. You are going to have to get someone else to do it. After the recuirts learn the basics, I can take them on some patrols around Military sector in the woods.
I will make another Log next week and give you an update on the recruits. Midvied Zhdanov Signing out sir.

Message/Report:
This message is in regards to the Bravo Fireteam. It will concern future Bravo members and general information.
As some of you may have been made aware, I have been given command over the Bravo fireteam. I do not hold the responsibility lightly. This is not the first time I have been in a position of leadership.
Moving on. I will not be randomly picking out soldiers that I think would be great to have on the team. If you wish to be a part of Bravo squad, speak to me in person. If I cannot be reached, contact my PDA. ((Steam: dcbarker)) If you wish to be a part of Bravo, here are some things you should know.
One. I expect your best efforts in everything you do. Training and practices. Following orders. Executing a mission. Tying your shoelaces. I want the best and ONLY the best. If you decide to give anything less, you might as well pack up and go home.
Two. Discipline. Everyone hates the word, but it must be present. Respect your commanders and officers. Respect your fellow man. It is hard. Trust me, I know. But you'll thank yourself down the line that you kept whatever you were going to say to yourself.
That just about covers it. Discipline and effort. Not too hard, huh?
Finally, Bravo related events. I will be scheduling training related events, and interviews for anyone who wants to join. These events will be posted here, so check often. Further information will be given out in person.

Also, I'd like to point out that our relations with Military are declining and I'm considering becoming hostile towards them. However, doing so may put you, my men, at risk. So for now, be extremly cautious at Military activity in the future, if they are mentioned by stalkers, follow it up. I'd like a report on military activity from time to time, it'll help.
However, I don't want any of you getting killed or captured when gaining this information, use stalkers to complete certain tasks. Pay them I guess, it'll get the job done safley and possibly build relations.

Message: Today, the Military engaged and wounded Soldier Dimitri Sidorov then retreated back to their sector. Later this day, they attacked the bar and killed about 4 stalkers and 1 Dutier. When the Military were pinning us down at the bar, a Sanctioned member named Syfer and Recruit Dmitri Lenskaya attacked the Military from behind, killing whole squad of about 4 grunts and 1 high-ranking officer in a SKAT. With their brave action they've saved our lives, because Military would most likely use fragmentation grenades to cause more harm. Recruit Dmitri Lenskaya killed 2 soldiers, while Syfer killed the remaining 2 grunts and the officer.

< During my duties, while me and Soldier Zegorg Yokavo was doing guard duty at the check point, the check point was under attacked by an unknown contact. Zegorg Yokavo got shot during the whole thing, and I didn't know exactly where or how he got shot. Shadow, a friend of mine, tries to drag Yokavo out of the situation and sterilized him. The non-dutiers at the check point were defending them selves. During the whole fight, after Shadow was finished with Yokavo, I tried to carry him to the barracks but apparently, from what I am told, someone discharged a weapon on me. Luckily my suit absorbed most of the rounds, but two pierced through the chest, and stomach area. They said I was in a state of shock when that happened and they dragged me out of the situation. There I was being treated at the checkpoint when all the gun fire has ceased, until someone was mentioning about Freedom coming to the base, and I was quickly dragged to the barracks, and treated there temporarily. The people who dragged me out of the situation got me out of my uniform and into normal clothing. Then a couple of guys in trench coats walked in the barracks saying they hated or very much disliked Duty. Before all this, my friend Shadow warned me about a group called something about a group called Bubba or something, murdering Dutiers and stealing their dog tags. I thought that this might of been connect through what happened during this whole event. The quarter master came in later, and I do believe he dealt with the three guys in the trench coats. I was then moved to the back of the bar, and was fully treated there. So in conclusion, I got injured, and I am going to be Out of Combat or Duties. Also, I am not so sure of what happened to Zegorg Yokavo.>

Message/Report: So today I was guarding the tunnel as usual when some egghead asked for assistance from everyone able in his research. I went to sector 3 to see if I could help.
When I arrived there were a lot of other stalkers there and the ecologist was briefing them, I'm not exactly sure what he was trying to do but it had something to do with an unusual anomaly that was attracting mutants to it. He wanted to examine one of those mutants and soon enough a group of dogs arrived and ran to the anomaly killing most of them but a few attacked us.
We killed them all with ease and the Ecologist started examining them. While he was doing that a group of zombies appeared out of nowhere and attacked us. We fought but there was too many of them and me and the professor were injured. We then were patched up and the professor continued examining the dogs.
After a while he found what he was looking for and asked a stalker to climb on a huge rock formation or whatever it was it was surrounded with these anomalies that were glowing blue, a stalker named Hydra volunteered to find a way on top of the formation. Eventually he got past the anomalies and got on top of the rock. He found a cave or something like that and the Ecologist told him to explore it.
Hydra jumped in and then a few minutes passed I am unsure of what happened in there but when he eventually got out he collapsed almost immediately. I went to get him out of there but the position of the anomalies had changed so I had to find a new route through them.
I managed to get past them and got to Hydra who was unconcious but alive, I lifted him up and carried him out of there. After that the anomalies disappeared suddenly and a stray zombie attacked us. After all that the Ecologist paid us all (500 rubles) and went his ways. I believe that the Stalker "Hydra" has fully recuperated. After that our relations should be a bit better with stalkers and the Ecologists.

When we exited the sector after our scouting mission, we were followed by a very large bloodsucker. It appeared to be an Alpha Male of some sort, though I can't be certain, I'm no ecologist. Today, two STALERs came to me today, oen was shot, the other carrying him. I quickly began to patch him up and I told the STALKER to guard the front since I didn't see anyone around. So as I am just about to begin, Recruit Kletchenko comes to me, so I send him to go guard the gate and tell that STALKER he can go.
As I finish up, Kletchenko comes back and tells me the STALKER thinks we were Monolith. I do not understand this still, but moving on. I finish patching up the STALKER, and he goes running off, which surprised me still since he was shot in the chest. So I go help Kletchenko guard the front gate, and we hear a bloodsucker nearby, but we couldn't tell from where. Minutes later, the STALKER I just patched up, gets thrown over the wall. Me and the Recruit head over, and he points a gun at us, he started yelling at us so we had to take him down.
Me and Klentchko went back to guard duty, and all was quiet for awhile. Then another STALKER in a sunrise comes to the gate, he was wearing Duty patches. We inquired how he had gotten those patches, he said he was dicharged. We searched him, and he came inside, he said his name was Alek. Vladimir Palinov out.
**Edit: Hired some STALKERs to scout some areas out. The arehouse and overpass are clear of any activity. I paid another to go check out Freedom, he said there were only two people on guard Duty at the time, also this news just reached me, but Freedom has moved into the Yantar complex. He also said that most of their facilities were isnide of one building, and the had a trader.
**Edit: New intel recieved. The buildings at the front of Yantar are trade buildings for stalkers, the back being their facilities. This info was given to me by a stalker in a trench coat with his rookie friend, didn't even have to pay them. I sent Alex Chorei on a scouting mission, he checked out the red forest, the old Freedom base, and the garbage. I paid his about 1000 for this becase he gave me minimal intel on Freedom, he got inside of their old base which has been claimed by a Merc company called Surtech.
All and all this is what I have gotten / spent, the money beign out of pocket.
Alex Chorei:
Spent: 1028 rubles
Gained: Intel that the garbage was empty, as was the red forest. The old Freedom outpost is taken by a company of mercs named Surtech. These mercanaries are horrible, so I have been told.
Two mercs named Vladimir (Ironic, I know.)
Spent: 700 rubles, 350 each
Gained: Intel: I sent them to set up a temporary base in the red forest, little activity.
Lone rookie
Spent: 90 rubles
Gained: 1 med kit
STALKER in sunrise:
Spent: 300
Gained: Intel: He scouted warehouse and overpass, nothing to report.
That is all, Vladimir Palinov out.
**Edit: Fucking idiot named Ivan Foka came by today. He started yelling at me, then offered something that would get me high. Got him out of the base, then get gets high and tries coming back. He knocks himself un-concious and I dragged him away from base.

God damned mutants. There was a mutant attack of dogs and snorkk at the front gate of the base today. They came in waves and got inside of the front yard of the base. A snork chased the rookie and a dog got a fairly deep scratch on my arm. I held them off alone, nobody with a gun being around to help out. The rookie gave me a med kit that a could use, and I paid him for scouting Freedom fairly well and for the med kit. Also, if you do send out a recruitment message, be prepared for some pissed of STALKER back talking.
Next up, the Freedom report. I sent the rookie to scout out Freedom, he said a "Large 4 story building, including the roof" was their barracks. He also said he could not find the med bay for Freedom, they might not have a permanent one. Other then that, it was information that was already known, the front building is their "bar" and a trader hangs aroudn there with the other stalkers. That is all I have to report today, I gave the STALKER 890 rubles for being a large help getting that snork off of me, and scouting out Freedom and finding their barracks, not to mention the med kit. Naturally we fired back at him and he fled. Soon two stalkers came back with his corpse and said that they had killed him. I paid them both 500 rubles and they left. No patches or PDA on the corpses but I think I saw him with some other stalkers near the entrance. We should be more careful from now on

Subject: Assault on Military / A few issues
Message: As a few of you may already know. Soldier Alek Smirnov was taken hostage by the Ukranian Military today. Luckily myself and a squad of Dutiers (names to follow) were able to rescue him with the help of a Stalker. We breached the compound and ended up firing through the bottom of the floor with Rodian Matvei's PKM doing damage to only the Military Captor. Soldier Smirnov was secured with minimal damage. Sadly, the Military captor bled out before we could bring him to the base. I have reason to believe that our radio frequency was breached. Refrain from using the current frequency until a new one is picked. Furthermore, all involved expect a debriefing tomorrow.
Those involved
Sergeant Krill Leren - (In action, Un-wounded)
Soldier Rodian Matvei - (In action, Un-wounded) *Honorable Mention*
Soldier Darsen Lemenski - (In action, Un-wounded) *Honorable Mention*
Soldier Alek Smirnov - (In action, Slightly Wounded)
That is all.
Sergeant Krill Leren.
[font='lucida console']*There is a note with an SVD, Duty soldier's suit, and other assorted items lying on the ground* This is Senior Soldier Vladimir Palinov. I am leaving Duty, and heading back out of the zone. I will try my luck and attempt to get out, but I cannot handle it in here anymore. I have left the items given to me by Duty, with Duty. I am sorry that I have left, but I cannot stand being in here for another day. Good luck, and good-bye. Valdimir Palinov, out.

Message: There's no OOC board so I'll just post this here. When did we become seventh platoon? No problems with it, just makes me think I missed some sort of big meeting...

Subject: Scientists getting cocky
Message/Report: So yeah, I observed a Freedomer walk into the ecologist bunker, I followed him and almost got him but he barely got inside(//Kinda lolran indoors after yelling "CHOPPERS" without doing a /me while I had my gun pointed at him, then server crashed and he went on FORP, it was ketchup btw.) The egghead came outside and started negotiating and slandering Duty. Eventually I had to leave the area but the egghead paid me 2000 rubles to bribe me to stay quiet about it. They however seem to favour Freedom members over us and are acting like they have power over us. I recommend we teach them a lesson for this to show that you don't fuck around with Duty.

Subject: The Rangers/Some odd note.
Message/Report: I was leading a patrol with recruits Dolvic and Ganya with me. We were just about to head back to base when we we're shot at by a stalker on the roof of the asylum (Yellow building W/E) So we went back and spotted him, he immediatly ran off but we found out that he was one of the rangers. This is when Recruit Dolvic had the idea of wrecking their base to show them not to shoot at Duty soldiers. The base was empty and we took the data from the hard drive of their computer on a flashdrive, wrecked everything and finally set it on fire. Nobody saw it was us and we returned to base.
Also we found this weird note just lying around. It said:"We had a bit of an odd error in our second test, oddly turning the plant into similar effects of the first subject..... This time though it turned blue and seems to have mor-" The text cuts at that point for some reason.

Subject: Raiding the underground
Message/Report: Heard a stalker requesting help over the PDA network, so I gathered some of us and went over to the underground area with other stalker groups. We entered the underground and after getting through the first door we encountered tens of bloodsuckers, propably defending their lair or something. In the end only me and 2 others stood. We kept moving forward in the tunnels and met a stalker in an exoskeleton called "Church". After a brief talk we left for the entrance. We were about to get out when an albino bloodsucker appeared behind us and a regular one attacked from the front. One merc died but the rest of us barely got out. Returned to base. Got an artifact called sparkler from the tunnels.

Subject: Supplies.
Report: Today, while me and Smirnov were in the base, guarding as usual. A supplier dropped by and we asked him to deliver us ammo and meds. We got plenty of 5.45x39 caliber ammo and basic 9x18 pistol rounds accompanied with medkits and bandages. We were running low on said supplies, but now the stock is full.

Subject: Scouting out the tunnels
Message/Report: Today me and Soldier Fedoseev went down to the tunnels to scout them out. We didn't expect resistance after all the stalkers coming and going through. But when we entered a pack of snorks came at us. We killed them and moved up. Some bloodsuckers attacked and we killed them as well. We went on and saw a ladder going up and growling coming from there, we tried to go back but heard hordes of zombies approaching, we climbed up, cleared it out and then we noticed we had no ammunition left whatsoever. We sat there, thinking about the situation and eventually decided to wait it out. Soon some army boys arrived and cleared out the zombies and told us to go with them. We ran for the ladder back to our base but noticed a massive amount of zombies in the way. Luckily the soldiers had ammo left and cleared it out, one soldier was wounded and we dragged him up, gave him treatment and sent him on his way. If we are to enter the tunnels again in the future we need to make sure we're ready for the mutant hordes in there.

Subject: Exploring/clearing the 'still constructed' mine cave/tunnel at the Marshlands.
Message/Report: Myself, Svva', Brilev', Mikhail went ahead and explored the cave that was being constructed at the Marshlands. Walking there, we spotted a Vortex anomaly in the air which is no good sign. Proceeding our walk towards the cave/tunnel, we heard some weird noises inside.. Moving deeper inside, there were anomalies everywhere, they appeared to look like rocks.. but wildly flying around. When taking a few steps back, one of those anomalies bounced against my helmet, knocking me unconscious for a little while. Being dragged out of the cave by Svva'. Shortly after being dragged, I gained back consciousness and got back onto my feet.
We called it in on the radio, and then returned back to base. Once back at base, myself and Mikhail got ourselves a hazard suit and some explosives. With approval of our CO' - As he was the one suggesting this, in hope to close down the entrance of the cave so that anything inside, stays inside and doesn't spread any further outside. Mikhail and myself headed back to the cave, as he was covering me while I set the explosives one by one, at each pillar that's holding the ceiling. As it was armed and the timer was set to one minute, we headed back outside and waited for the explosion. Shortly afterwards, the explosion was heard. We headed back to see if the cave collapsed, and thank god it did.
We (Mikhail and I) then returned back to base, and reported the situation to our CO'.

Subject: Recon trip
Message/Report: Today Fedo' and I were on a small recon trip around the sector and we found a small tunnel that leads to the back of the Anarchist territory. We observed the base from a distance and got a general picture of the base and it's surroundings. Also there were loads of dead dogs around the base so I presume there is mutant activity in that area as well.

Message/Report: While going on a routine check near the bar, I found a dead body, it had been look as if either a Snork or a Bloodsucker had killed him. This may have been the work of the Albino Bloodsucker, seeing as how it looks worse than a normal attack.

Subject: Arena
Message/Report: Stalkers came by and hosted an event with the Arena, was fun to watch especially seeing the exciting fights going on. Made a good amount of money for Duty for letting stalkers watch by the catwalk, nothing really happened though besides the little scuffle Brilev had with a Trader it looks like, it was resolved.
