That's part of their backstory. They pick anyway that they got Lycanthropy. Like my character got it by attracting the disease from other werewolves.

Why this race and not another?: I think that such a unique race would be a wonderful addition to our fantasy repertoire, and that many people would enjoy playing this race.

I like these guys but, I dont see anyone playing a ball-o-fat char.

Gills & webbed hands/feet: Full-bloods are born with a set of gills on both sides of their torso and, their webbed hands/feet allow them to cut through the water with remarkable speed
Dorsal Ridges: A full-blood may be born with A dorsal ridge on its: Head,back,forearms,calfs
Other: The full-bloods have a very strong preference towards water and, cannot stand to be seperated for long. Full-bloods also have a strong, deeply rooted hatred for half-bloods. Full-bloods think of them as betraying the ocean in favor of dry land.

Half-blood Heritage: A half-blood receives traits of both parent species. If the Alu-Apanonar crosses with a High-Elf then the off-spring may very well have pointy ears and, a pale, yet scaley,complexion.
Lungs of a Land Lubber: All Half-bloods are born with a normal set of lungs in their chest and, a small set of gills in their neck. They can swin underwater for longer than any land-fairing race but, will drown soon after.

Why this race and not another?: I've heard a few people on the server ask about an auquatic race and, I have come up with the idea of making a semi-submerged city. Also, This race intrigues me. It has been the easiest thing to create since I've joined and, I would really like to see it in-game.

RENAMED & EDITED: I removed the Universal thing because that was a given. I also changed it so Full-bloods can last longer on land becuase Its kinda stupid to try and make a house full o' water.
The only difference between Fulls & Halfs are the way they look & their water-faring capabilities.

Defining Features: Tree bark for skin, the defenders of the greatest trees in Aceon as their defenders, wood sap is their blood, No hair just twisted bark almost like roots in resemblance to hair though elder Welden may have moss beards (and the odd rotten limb), they can be from any type of tree found in Aceon and their bark skin will be that colour, their eyes depend on the colour of the fruit the tree produces (ie. Oak Weld would have Acorn Green eyes whilst a Holly Weld would have Berry Red eyes), can vary in height between 4 feet to 9 feet, the older they get the more they creak (very loudly) and the slower they move, very protective of the forests, all can use nature magic but many refrain from doing so as they feel it is a perverse abomination of the natural order of things (NOTE: If RPing as one you will still need a Mage License), if 'their tree' is destroyed they lose their mind gradually; their tree is the ancient and great tree that they were grown to protect and care for.

You seriously accept bird creatures that can't speak common and eat regular races, but have this pending?  Seriously Port.  Its a god-damn Ent, a tree person.  And they made it so each one could be individualized by types of trees.  It is neat, and it is interesting.  He even made sure to tell people they need to apply for magic, rather than have it as a racial ability.

Oak Weld would have dark, green (Acorn green is totally not a color.) eyes whilst a Holly Weld would have Berry Red eyes), can vary in height between 4 feet to 9 feet, the older they get the more they creak (very loudly) and the slower they move, very protective of the forests, all can use nature magic but many refrain from doing so as they feel it is a perverse abomination of the natural order of things (NOTE: If RPing as one you will still need a Mage License), if 'their tree' is destroyed they lose their mind gradually; their tree is the ancient and great tree that they were grown to protect and care for.

As the Welden ages, it grows from a thin, wiry sapling-like state into larger, more robust and thicker-trunked forms, very much like a simple tree. The older a Welden is, the larger it may become. Younger welden grow tender leaves or flower buds. As the Welden ages, either the leaves or buds can simply fall off or mature into blossoms.

Almost all Welden fear or revile technology, almost treating the burning of coal and wood as some kind of Satanic ritual.

Why this race and not another?:  Could be fun to RP as plus Noct and taco  said they would RP as one. I did copy the first part but I added some stuff and took some more stuff out
