Some loners hiring mercs and helping military.
Whats happening with that?
You do understand that loners are both hostile to military and MERCS.

Loners don't necessarily have any set attitudes towards factions, they're loners. They're the people who aren't in a faction, and make their own relations. Really, the problem lies with the mercs/military who are befriending stalkers, seeing as they DO have set relations with other factions.

I'm the only loner that follows this every now and then. And when I try to establish a little group of loners to travel together with they don't agree and then complain in OOC when they get mugged.

All of the admins have different opinions on which time SRP is in and they think they rule the server when they are on.. so we have to RP in the time.

Like when I was on my Monolith and the entire Red Forest was infested with Loners and a trader, a TRADER was in the Red Forest, and they told me to leave and sit at my base and do nothing.

Now what Jackal says there is true. Loners do not help military, this isn't CoP where you are a fucking mayor. If you all look up to CoP remember when you got out of that tunnel complex when military got you? If your character wasn't an agent all of those five guys would have been killed.

All I see lately is brainless loners running everywhere trying to make a buck doing ANYTHING. It's like Darkrp for crying out loud(not yet since there's no DM).

Whatever, the server needs to move into COP so players can bring in features that are currently *TECHNICALLY* not neccesarily allowed.

I, for one, have enjoyed using COP's features and using them on my characters Icly and Oocly. Detectors, artifacts, Rping a USS agent that investigated stuff, ect.

I like to think of myself as a good loner.
When ever i'm on my character i tend to set up camp somewhere quite, do some Rp with odd passers by (taught someone to cook yesterday :P), occasionally get eaten by a Bloodsucker, and sometimes robbed.
However the robbing part is not so good.

Don't get me wrong, i'm happy to Rp with a bandit. But when its a LOLbandit, thats a whole different Story. I got mugged by the same Loner posing as bandit 3 times in around 1 day. I don't mind having to give my stuff away it's just that they always result the Rp in killing, they only do this because they can't rp themselfs so they have to kill me off to get to the other victim fast.
So yeah, you right. There is something wrong with most Loners.

I think new people think that being a loner is bad. That's what they think, but STALKER is my favorite character. They try to branch off into something because they consider being a STALKER bad. They just need to understand that if they get gear and weapons, and become famous, they are no loner a failrookie.

I know it's 'boring' to just RP as some random, common character without anything special happening to him (family killed by zone bandits, etc), but there's way too many special circumstances for everything.

Every character has to be super, every character has to have a backround that fits with the faction they are joining, every character has to be good with guns, etc. That's something you don't encounter alot.

It's understandable for a loner or two to know how to function an assualt rifle, but mostly people are going to know how to function simple shit first. i.e breakaction, shotgun, etc.

Stuff takes training to use, and loners are typically people just coming into the zone to make some quick scrilla, that's all. No your not gonna go to the zone to make a family composed of other men looking for artifacts or money, you've probably got a life/wife outside of the zone.

Anyways yeah, seeing the problem within the military its getting way out of hand No offence, but Radek and Wazer, you seem to fall in love with every STALKER that shows up at our front gate, and they feel they can just chill out in the military base with some sort of immunity >:O It makes no sense what-so-ever I propose that there are two major Loner groups (Such as Defiance or The Sanctioned) and when your a stalker you are part of either of those groups, and the two groups are neutral with eachother.
