The positive feedback for this seems rather interesting seeing as you seemingly reworded the story that my team at Our Benefactors worked up months ago. See the official write up here. I'm going to kindly assume that this thread is simply a misunderstanding and hope that nothing more comes of it.

The above is truth. I've been following his HL2RP server since its conception, and your entire story just looks and sounds like his, reworded. If everyone here at HGN is as independent and 'leech-hating' as most of you claim to be, I'd just leave this roleplay out of the picture and move on to something else.

FUCKING EPIC IDEA but give the combines special flags so the players can becomea citizen scanner or maybe a hunter/strider gunship dropship wahtever i would epicly liked to play a dropship or hunter

and maybe a nother faction like antlions and zombies who knows ? would be a good idea

Silverknight wouldn't agree. Basically, the thinking here at HGN is that if someone else is already doing a certain theme of RP for themselves, we don't tread on their feet, and we expect everyone else to do the same. Everyone thought TerminatorRP would be a great idea (it's stupid, tbh), but we didn't do it because it would stepping on the toes of TnB.

We should show the same amount of respect and allow the current supporter of 'Combine-Fall RP' to have their run at it. I recommend we just wait, and don't take this any further. You would want the same thing. He's been doing this since May, you just thought all of this up yourself, apparently, about a week ago in three hours. I think he's put a bit more into this.

Hockey, thanks for the advice but im not going to take it. Who the fuck has EVER heard of "Our Benefactors"- Apart from little hockey here. The story is due a whole re-write. I have gone through most of it with Afro and we got the general idea but Creeding, Afro, Jake, KingArthur and i are going to have a large re-write and try to fill in any holes.

This is MY work no-one elses and i would apreciate everyone to respect that.

That's not my fault. He's brought this upon himself. Besides, he'll be back when his ban is up, or a few days after his ban is up, saying 'i'm sorry i exploded, i'm cool now'.

It was relevant up until Blake circumvented his ban. Thanks for further derailing the thread, by the way, it really helped.

To get back on topic, we're talking about the possibility of a Combine Fall RP server hosted by HGN, using a concept largely developed by GuitarFreak in May.

Well consitering Most people, havent even herd of there "our benafactors" Role play im imagioning it not very popular anyway, so what does it matter if we try it out for ourselfs? Seems like theres story is different. I hate leachers as much as the next guy but this is an open discusion. HL2RP is everywhere, why shouldnt we be able to do another Side of it, JUST because some one else is doing it? If they started before us, great, who cares for some compotion anyway? Its a good idea and I think we would have a few people play it continously.

on another Note, Why did guitar freak even find this, i mean does he google it every day to check if some ones comming up with a simlilar idea? And why are you so resistant to it hockey, shouldn't you like the comunity coming up with ideas?

ON TOPIC: Jake has a small map going ATM, I dont know the status but reble base sounds almost done
