HL2 RP is nothing to compare anything to. It is bad. Plain. Simple.

My purpose with this picture was to say "Can we just not keep talking about "HOW CAN WE USE GIMMICKS TO ATTRACT PEOPLE TO CRUSSARIA"?" Because that is all you're doing.

HL2 also tends to be incredibly shitty. Everyone isn't Gordon Freeman but they are all "super badass CP" or "super badass rebel". That's a terrible example. Look at any of the "established" HL2 RPs. I guarantee you ALL of the server regulars/old school players on that server are not RPing citizens, they are RPing rebels or Combine. That is because being a citizen is shitty and boring. The only reason most are average people is because they are waiting for an admins dick to open up so they can suck it and become Combine or Rebel.

Take the elements you like from Skyrim and mod them to fit Crussaria, not the other way around. Why is that so unacceptable to you that you'd rather just rip off another game? Imagination makes roleplay better.

The playerbase which would come to that server is already taken by others. So don't even try to do that. Stick to our three two servers which are at least a bit active.

I consider Stalker our main server, Crussaria a main server upcoming if it's management issues get sorted. Fallout is a sub-server like Terraria\Minecraft, i don't see it as a main focus point of HGN anymore but something of a server where a certain few good roleplayers can roleplay like it was for awhile, maybe it could come into the spot light again, but until then we will wait and see.

There are one or two servers out there who are attempting to do it but are not doing it very well so no, there is very much a market for it and we have a decent model porter, Jake. Over Christmas, i may take this onboard depending on how busy i am with work and put up a test\trial server and see how it goes.

Not to be a buzzkill, my silverknight, but look at our history? Wasn't Crussaria supposed to be awesome with GALLONS of content? Wasn't fallout supposed to be amazing with custom lore and >> GALLONS OF CONTENT.

The problem isn't that there's no interest it's just the lack of resources, and no offence meant, I doubt Jake will be able to churn out content like HGN used to. He's just one guy and there's a limit to what one person can do in terms of anything.

It's an admirable goal, and yeah, Metro 2033 sounds pretty awesome, but we really can't consider slapping up another server when we have an SRP server that's "Boring", a FRP server that's circling the drain and a Crussaria/Fantasy RP server that's on its last knee.

While Crussaria is on its way back to being a good server and having hype like back in the day, FRP isn't going to have that hype again. Crussaria should really be our focal point; You say you want to make it a key server- a major part of the community, then let's take a step back from the unfinished projects and clean up Crussaria until it's as good as- hell, until it's BETTER than SRP. Why use Jake to generate content for a gamemode that isn't even running, especially when you have servers twisting in the wind. When you put up SRP you didn't have 30-odd projects just waiting to be finished, did you? And before you say it, those were just random servers. TF2, Build, whatever, they were never meant to be important but right now you're working on three projects that you consider important: One of them is dead, the other is trying not to die, and the last isn't even consummated yet.

Please, Silver, PLEASE do not make another server.

I think we need a map update for crussaria. Just one more adding in something to that blank place, make it seem alive. Make the village more city like? Something! The mapping you did silver is great, the medieval style is amazing on the buildings. But as of now its getting to be that empty place we all know.

When i don't have work\degree work to do. I want to edit the map and add a new snow section, we a fort and alittle bit of wilderness. Essentially a snowy district. This would connect to Taren Point and another part of the map, essentially the inbetween part. The sky part next to ravendale will be expanded to be more fieldish, then it slows down to a small forest. The river will enter rocks and there will be a path that you walk into and takes you to a small tunnel with torches which then leads out into a small forest and a sandy beach with a ocean. Where a dock and a few ships are located, a little port place.

Those are my plans for Crussaria's next map update.

I am not working on 3 projects. SRP doesn't need much more other than managerial attention and bug fixes as it always does. Any major improvements are just added bonuses that really are not needed in a roleplay world\script. It's very immersive as it is. I ran out of idea's on how to improve srp's script awhile back.

Crussaria's map, script and content are up to par, it has everything it needs on that end, adding more will not improve roleplay or population. I have a huge amount of stuff that even srp does not have and probably shouldn't (Npc traders, lol). It just needs lore, management and well, new players. Alot of players join and show a huge amount of interest, but we don't have the staff to keep it to a certain standard of enjoyment.

Fallout as i said is not my focus point, i will be doing fixes, tweaks and adding additional things to bring it up to par but i am not going all out again on it. It's focus point is for a small playerbase not a major player server like SRP.

Crussaria won over Starwars in the end in attention if anyone is wondering.

Well, that's odd. Maybe I should add a more clear desciption of my suggestion. But I guess when I noted out "Skyrim RP" everybody thinks it's about the Dragonborn shit. No, I did not mean that. I just had an interest in the conflict betweent the Imperials and Stormcloaks, and all the other smaller factions and houses that either suffer or benefit from the conflict. Of course, it shouldn't be just about the two major parties fighting. But it's more of a thing happening behind all else.

But then again, when I read the thread name, it says "potential". So I'm just throwing out ideas and whatnot.
