he wasn't. please ralazo, let me handle applications in the future. and your accepted, nick. we dont have an official weapons research team though, the closest thing would be the merchants, or army. let me know what your choice is.

If anyone is Unaware, The lord admiral is dead, A message has been sent to the admirality of novarium, and a replacement is on his way, it will take a wile, and in the mean time, The Colonel is in charge, and The commodore is the acting admiral.

I'll be returning as the lord admiral's replacement when bukkit 1.6 is released. in the mean time, I'll probally just play a generic soldier.

well. it basically went like this:
The Lord admiral is walking past the merchant district billboard, and the map, when a Large ship pulls in, with several servants/slaves and Lord blair and geccoy's characters, emperor thanatos and Emperess hypnos, or soemthing, they make first contact for their faction, and Dantius notices that the emperess seems to be able to Sap the energy of the emperor, and manipulate him, The Emperor wants to make peace with Novarium badly, but The Lord admiral is appauled by their nation, which uses slaves, and hosts fights to the death, Not to mention is districted off and limits Peasant freedoms. He agrees to an alliance, but the emperess Informs him that if he does not Send someone to partake in the Fights, They will not be allies. after some more discussion, they leave, all three of them, but not before Thanatos discovers that he's been used for most of hsi life, thanks to the Admiral's trickery, hypnos admits it all within earshot, thanatos runs away during a lightning storm, and the admiral and emperess go out to find him, the lrod admiral finds him sometime later, and they both head to the Church, The admiral tells him he must kill or capture his sister, and retake the Throne, so as to ensure his people's Future, he agrees, and the admiral hands him a pistol. They wait in ambush, and when the emperess walks in, the admiral steps out of the shadows, weapon aimed, after a heated discussion, she escapes, and they chase after her, a brief fight in the Bank Courtyard, Involving the Admiral Shooting the Emperess in the leg, The emperess hitting the Admiral with a knockout spell, that sends him hurtling backwards into a wall, breaking his arm and a window as he stumbles back. The emperor and the emperess fight some more, and a Noble (comrade British) arrives, and helps the emperess, the emperor disapears after he is knocked out by the same type of spell, and the admiral is taken aboard the Ship. as it is leaving, the Emperor, and Colonel Grenellin arrive, and a brief Shootout from the merchant district raised road, They both board the ship, Meanwile, the Admiral is Unconcious on a bed, with a gun aimed at him by the noble. The Commodore, (hgnturkey) jumps onto the moving vesself from the heart of novarium, and all three Aim at the noble and The Emperess, who now has a knife to the admirals throat, they tell the noble he may leave if he surrenders, and he does so, enrages, the emperess Forces the blade into the admirals neck, Severing all the Arteries, He wakes up from the pain, and tries to fight back, as The Colonel presses a blunderbuss against the side of the emperess's head, and BLows her brains across the Wall, The Admiral dies Spasming Holding his throat. and they all return to VB.

... wow. So both their empress and our Lord admiral were killed in this fight?

And this was our first contact with what faction? DEAP? A couple members of Novarium (Anyone who came from Legion, such as myself) have already had contact with DEAP before. It may the the first "official" Novarium contact, but I had already had contact.

Infact there was so much contact in the first week, I was literally thrown out the city via steamportal whilst being accused of being a spy. Sort of soured my relationship with them...
