Ravenking factory is now partially operational with it's true purpose hidden from even Admiral Dantius himself. A piece of information was leaked by a worker about dangerous mechanisms and devices that were being used in the factory. An investigator infiltrated the factory in working hours and found no devices or tools that matched the description. The investigator made a report detailing all items that were used in the factory and concluded that the factory itself was a distraction and that there was more to the information than disclosed. Since then the investigator has dissapeared leaving many sceptical as to what is actually going on in Ravenking.

Quin told me when we allied with the Legion we broke the alliance. They wanted to destroy the Legion and if they had attacked then... After that it's really self explanatory but I think we might have angered a few factions by protecting the Legion.

wow, it's a bit overwhelming to think that this is all because of xsteve killing someone of Legion without reason. we took him prisoner. he joined us. he defected back to DEAP during attempted negotiation of a cease fire. war. loss...

I find it funny how quin doesnt seem to understand politics here, We did Nothing to break the Treaty. We were going to take the legion as a protectorate, which wouldnt have been against the terms of oru alliance But, regardless, We never Went through with it, Only said we were going to, And that The war would be paused Untill a United factions meeting could be held. Then i find out legion has been destroyed, and deap has broken our alliance, this is The pinnacle of metagaming, seeing as I onyl mentioned the protectorate oocly to quin.

Backstory.


Centuries ago, Aceon was a much larger continent, magic was used freely by all the races, and disputes were settled in battles of honor. However, a man of immense power faltered in his efforts to bring world peace, by exterminating the other races, and allowing humanity to rule the world without oppisition. His spell of death split the land, and half of Aceon separated. the spell sent both land masses drifting away from each other. as the  eye witness inhabitants of Old Aceon died, the story of the other continent became nothing more then a children's tale. Centuries later, Aceon, whose political stabilitie was utterly destroyed by rumors of the man's intentions. Now Aceon is in chaos, with mutliple factions fighting for complete control. The New Continent, However, has not forgotten it's distant brother. Named Novarium, after an ancient language for "new beginning." Is also in a state of war. The Humans on this land mass were strong supporters of the man who seeked to ensure their dominance in the world. And they hold a hatred towards all non-humans. Racists in the truest sense of the word. The Humans of this land have forged An empire of their own. Novarium is technologically superior to Aceon, having entered an Era of enlightenment When the emperor, a powerful and charismatic warlord. Took leadership of the new world. the emperor, A man who seemingly appeared from nowhere, Has secretely made dark deals with forces not of this world or Aceon. These dark entities, demons, ghosts, the name is irrelevant, Have blessed him with Incredible insight, Though he Dare not make the Same mistake of using magic to achieve his goal, unlike his ancestor, The emperor has trickled the information into the private business owners of the Novarium Empire, and This has led to many new Wwapons, household items, and even methods of transportation. Though the political situation in Aceon may be bad, Novarium is on the verge of revolution, Human rebels join with the Dwarven republic, The Ogre Kingdom, The Elven Kingdom, and anyone, or thing, else that will aid them in their struggle to stop the Emperor's percieved genocide, To keep up morale, And distract from the oppisition at home, The Emperor has commisioned Lord Admiral Dantius To Lead an expedition to "The Old World." The Lord Admiral has left his main fleet at sea, anchored at a small island, whilst sending "The Heart of Novarium" a steam powered boat to scout out a suitable Landing. 'The Heart of Novarium' has nestled in a small cove, hidden by trees, and apparently, in the middle of nowhere. Lord Admiral Dantius has arrived to secure a foothold, and make first contact with the Aceon peoples.

Basic Information.
The Expedition has 3 branches, The 14th Novarium Navy, led by Hektor Dantius, The 47th Regiment of Foot, Led by Captain Grenellin, and 'The Jewel of Industry', a Merchant vessel.
Rules.
Don't steal, or grief, at all.
Don't Kill unless ordered to by an Officer.
Play nice, don't wander too far from the Cove, and if you're captured, die with honor, and don't say a word. (I wont be biting peoples heads off for wandering too much, but please, stay within eye sight of the Ship, atleast.)
Keep the structures built very modest, we're newly arrived poorly equipped soldiers, not magicians and carpenters. All structres should be designed to appear either natural, or well hidden. Oh, and the empire –HATES- magic, and only use it in extreme situations.
