Discussed as a "Court Magician" over Vent, what I'm thinking of is a guy you'd goto for some seriously cool and epic quests, equally dagerous as it is rewarding. Also could be used as a "Heroric" guy, for BIG encounters, and maybe an epic face-off with his dark twin currently being discussed over Vent.
Some serious RP preparations would have to be made before a battle, and almost undoubtley he'd be a key figure in the ever going war of "who to become king". Neutral to all, but defender of either, battling off the Sinister "middleman" of this RP.
He would also have to RP a frail old man, and be revealed as the "Wizard" in some kind of epic quest/encounter... (Like the Necromancer being discussed raids the Castle, summoning up a massive horde, and the Lord has to send out an Adventurer to find the Wizard... etc. etc...)Apprentice System:
The Wizard may choose a Apprentice, he could be anybody, but usually the neglected farmboy :3
I doubt he'll ever become a full Wizard, but he may be given a Magic Swep at sometime.
