Yer, Metro world is very good for an RPG.

Metro will be awesome,linear or RPG,Im fine with both.But I would prefer RPG.
I hope they do more with The Reds and the fourth reich. Those two factions seem intresting. I also hope they add some more elements into the game that they left out from the book.

I actually prefer the way Metro 2033 was. It adds story.
Considering 2033 follows the book, well attempts too, there is a good reason it's linear, don't expect anything more from this. I loved metro the way it was, so I'm not complaining!
My hopes:
Multiplayer
Longer campaign, and a bit less linear, make it more explorable
Co-Op following a different timeline than in the singleplayer
More guns and customization
The ability to play "free play" mode
Make custom armor (some sort of camo, components, vest etc.)
It looks like the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series on steroids.

What I meant was that the theme is similar: wasteland, mutants, homicidal Eastern Europeans, etc.
