I need to buy some new computer speakers, my current ones are from the 90's and are starting to make some fucking scary noises at times they shouldn't... It's like I'm playing fucking SCP 24/7. I'm lookin to spend about $50-60 on some new ones. Anyone got any reccomendations for some good/decent ones in that price range?

because it's a one-time thread
Since all you ask is for speakers in the $50 to $60...
I suggest trying some Creative brand speakers. Even logitech are nice enough.
I got some older SBS 380s and they are quite nice.
$25-$50

I personally don't use my speakers, I recommend getting a good headset instead.
If, you are the gamer type.
For speakers I would go for the logitech z506 but it is at the top (if not a bit over) your price range, however if you are willing to go that little bit more from what I've seen it is worth it.
I just went with headphones and was lucky because I managed to find a Tritton AX Pro for £30/$45 when normally they go for £120/$200. In my opinion just use a deal finding website (for UK residents I would use hotukdeals.com) and just wait until something pops up.
I like that video Steven :D

Just be prepared when playing scary games
Laughed my ass off at the video. Anyways, ontopic: I have good speakers with my current headset but i hate wearing headphones (I only bought them for the mic.) But as for pricing, I can go a little over if I need to, $50-60 was just a nice range as it wouldn't hurt my wallet too much.
