And they do this in paintball too at the scenario events. Seen vids of it. And I guarantee you I could outshoot any of you airsoft faggots in a gunfight since I've yet to see an airsofter who knew how to snapshoot. 99% of you guys play airsoft like it's paintball anyway, you just dress in camo when you do it. The games aren't as different as you desperately want to believe nor do I understand why airsofters feel the need to bash paintball so much. It's like you're afraid people will realize it's the same game with different-looking guns.

Thats definately an M249. An M60 would have a completely different reciever and barrel, as well as sights. About the only simularity is the magazine.
Look at the forend. Yeah he says it's an M249 in the description but that front end doesn't have the M249 heatshield on it and the flashider isn't right. Granted you can't see the whole gun anywhere really in the whole vid but other than the front sight the front end doesn't look right for it to be an M249 and the top cover looks more like an M60's to me. Also the gas tube under the barrel on an M249 doesn't go all the way to the end of the barrel. At :06 in the vid you can get a good view of the front. Other than the front sight that front end doesn't look like an M249. Doesn't really look like an M60 either now that I look at it again but it's definitely not a 249. Perhaps it started life as a 249 but that guy did some work to it externally to the point where it's now pretty unrecognizable. It's funny, you all want realism so bad and then you cobble together a front end that doesn't exist irl (because if you held a machine gun like that you'd get some very nice burns on your hand) and velcro a battery to it.

Notice how the barrel extends past the gas tube and there is a heatshield over the top of the barrel. Even if you look at a shorter 249 variant like a Mk46 or a para variant the barrel still extends past the gas tube.The gun in the vid has a gastube that goes all the way to the end of the barrel and no heatshield. At 2:35 you get another good view. And of course there's the still the vid starts as. It apparently started life as an Echo 1 M249 from his other vids but that front end is...weird.
And Spades I can look on youtube and I have seen maybe 2 vids where people are actually milsimming and several hundred where people are running around with 600+ round high caps full auto hosing down everything that moves. Just like paintball except with 3 times the ammo and full auto is allowed. Don't get butthurt at me because I'm pointing out your sport is the same as mine.
And I apparently have more fun playing it because I don't feel the need to say "ololol airsoft is so shitty paintball master race!" in every post I make talking about paintball. Whereas airsofters (on this forum, and most others, including airsoft forums) feel the need to go "olol paintball is so shitty" in every post they make. Sorry you feel so inadequate, you and I are playing identical games for the most part. I just don't wear camo and I can tell when I hit people because my shots leave a mark. And my gun doesn't sound like a sewing machine or look like an M-4.
