The traders of the Zone buy and sell items, weapons, ammunition and other objects to S.T.A.L.K.E.R's with the aim to make their riches. Most of these people were once black-marketeers, fraudsters and dodgy salesmen cast out from the greater world forced to sell in the Zone. This being said a lot still have outside contact which is ultimately how suppliers manage to smuggle their shipments through the boarder, this done by 'Runners' hopping through mines on the Cordon or even paying off the military to look the other way.




Becoming a Trader
To become a trader you must ICly express your interest to a Supplier, whom will then discuss the details with you. If you can prove you can make money then you're most likely going to get in.




Exclusive Items
Exclusive items are high tier items which traders will not normally sell to your average stalker. These items can only be purchased by becoming an Partner to the Traders by expressing interest to a Supplier, this generally costs between 5000 and 6000 Roubles.
