As you've all probably noticed the squads have fallen flat on their collective butts. They didn't work with Celtic and they didin't work with me, so i'm thinking about scrapping them and going back to the old system of individual specialisations.

Or, the other option is to scrap the support & roughnecks team and just keep Assault & Recon so we can focus our members.

Thoughts?

I think we should focus on a "Respect" and "Specailization" system. Or just keep assualt and Recon.

Oh boy.
Strap yourselves in, it's time for the great 'obligatory' SRP resurrection of 2013/14/15/16/22

I agree with tom

If we do just keep assault and Recon, we can all focus more on them and more shit will be done most likely. So thats the option I want to choose, but any other suggestions or thoughts would be handy.

I think scraping the Support and Roughnecks would be best. Roughnecks dont really have much of a use, and support (like most squads) is dead.

Another possibly solution would be to get rid of squads completly, and jsut have anyone apply for what position they'd like. So instead of having, say, grenadiers as a "Squad" they could just go as undividual people.

Yeah thats the idea with the specialisations.

Will people actually apply to be specialized? Or you force it on them?

This sounds like it could work.
(the specialisations, and removal of squads)

Which option?

sorry, forgot to quote it, Fixed.

I scraped the Duty sqauds system due to the fact it it is imposible to use with such small player bases, In HGN and the factions themselfs, So yea individual specailistion is a far beter path to use, Paticularly if you do it on an as need basis. AKA you train a few folk to use a sniper rifle then issue the rifle only when required this saves you spending fuck tons on weapons that may be lost in situations where the gain dose not outway the risk.

Yeah specialisations do work well with a small player base, but my objective with the squads was to keep people active. So me, and the squad leaders could organise activities for the squads but that fell through because we had too many squads. So i'm thinking if we try it with only two squads, we could focus alot more and hopefully the squad leaders will do a good job.

So yeah. Going to scrap support & roughnecks, and keep Assault & Recon. With Tom as the Recon leader.

Okie Dokies.
