How exactly does the servers Material Toolgun get the massive list of materials it has within? Does it read some sort of *material.lua* and import them? Bare with me here I'm no expert, but I'd love to have these for singleplayer building...

He wants to use what he already has from the SRP content pack, not to fill HD with more or even dupes of what's already there.

That is what - wel, what I was asking. It seems the materials the servers material stool uses are a material.lua that SK made himself. I checked over Gmod.org quite a bit and didn't see any materials the server uses.
I recognize it from the PHX storms material pack, I remember seeing the same materials in PHX 3.
