Yeah its the third person system, which works locally when i do it, but it has problems in multiplayer.

Using a suit (putting it on) COULD spawn a rookie suit, so that you alter through them, instead of just taking it off.

Unless you mean you can't swap between suits at all, then I can't help you there :P.
