Making money

How am I supposed to make some money? People say ask a trader for a job, but it's rare that they have one and when they do actually have one, there's like 9 people who attempt to do it. I see people walking around with thousand $ gear, how do they get it? The only jobs I've seen have been like a hundred ru. I think there should be some artifact spawns or something.

I can't get money either, it is the same problem. When I'm able to do something... Someone points a gun at me tells me to drop what ever we may have been looking for and then shoots me...

Which is what would happen if you were to go in real life alone. Where money is involved, there are always people who want to steal from you, even in trader missions. Find some experienced stalkers who you can share a cut with, or align yourself with a faction.

It's not the bandit encounters I'm ticked about. Yes they're annoying, but it's all part of the game. All I'm trying to say is that it's hard to get started off at the beginning. You're basically at the mercy of the current trader on and if he doesn't want to set up stuff, there's not much you can do.

You could apply for a faction, but would they take a rookie in with no money and only a makarov?

Setting up missions is hard for traders because lots of times they run out to set the mission up only for some idiot to stalk them and grab the mission item the second the trader puts it down.

Yeah im going to apply for TT+Phys and since i donated a few hours ago i think ill be able to get a good enough income to make some decent jobs. But ill only give them out to  the Stalkers no Freedom or Military coming in just to make extra cash that they dont need. If anyone wants to help me out getting TT+Phys reccomend me please. I dont have trader flags yet so i probably wont be doing many HIGH PAYING jobs yet. So most likely ill say go into this area and see why my buddy is not replying to my radio. "Gets on Sucker" BLEEEARG!

I will be truthful, it is hard to get started, and having the right in character connections makes all the connections. Hopefully I wont turn half of the server into bandits by saying this, but sometimes the best way to beat the bandits is to become one.

Thats why we have so many lolbandits...

And yeah it is hard to get a new character started, Best thing is to Not rush the makarov cause the makarov is the equivelent to a squirt gun... Save up for a berreta.

It's probably a good thing that it's a bit hard to get started, it'll filter out a lot of the idiots and give people more of a connection to their character.

PK's should be easier for STALKER's who turn bandit. The social order will be against them in a environment such as this where they harm the economy.

I give jobs on a regular basis but no one asks me so yah.....   :'(

Which is why, most of the time I make missions, I make myself invisible, but some admins, don't like this, so they change me back.

I must say that making missions without Observe is a fucking bitch.

But maybe you should have an admin observe you so they now your not just fucking around with your TT.

What I tell traders to do is tell me what mission they want to make and I use my observe mode to set it up while they brief the STALKERs. Works great, except it requires an admin to be free to do it.

Everytime you make a mission Im always in another RP situation, be it bloodsucker, or me getting mugged.

I've noticed, there is also a severe lack of artifacts, too severe that one may appear after two weeks, and that's it for another two weeks, we need to up this a bit to maybe, one or two per day, maybe three. like in the actual games.

Major Factions! They get paychecks they get money they buy from trader the traders give tio stalkers and its a fucking repeat!
