Difficult to do, since all SRP sweps use the CS:S weapons for a base. The LR-300 on the server currently happens to use the M4 base, and is basically a skin for the M4.
If you place a skin over a skin, things will start messing up.
Let's use the right terminology here.
Skin = Texture
Model = polygons
Model Replacement/Replacement = Pack
Hack = Edit of Pre-existing model
Reskin = Re-texture or fitting UV map to new texture

Not always.
You can't swap out like animated models. If you swap out like your rookie for an exosuit model, it will T-Pose everywhere because it differs from the server's version of the file.
Rather an old thread but I still support this. For some reason, the Stalker - ripped weapons look like shite.
We don't need to use it JUST because it's from stalker when we can use something better looking.
STALKER textures are horrible when downsized/ported, and some just look outright horrible in the first place.
They are made to look very worn, but sometimes they just look like fucking chalk.
I'de say we stick with the reskinned stalker weapons on FPSB.
