Cant Fully Join The Server

Whenever I try to join the server, and I am loading the game, I always get stuck at:

SENDING CLIENT INFO

A few of you might say "Wait longer u n00b" but I have waited over ONE HOUR to load! Waht the heck!

So just asking for a way to fix this crap so I can play

Reinstall Gmod, only 5-10 mins for me..

Thanks, I havent re-installed it, but I did fiddle with some commands

cl_updaterate 20
cl_rate 30

This is just a one-off, it happens to everyone once in a long while, but after exiting Gmod and waiting 10 minutes or so it's fixed for me.
The worst case scenario for this is that I need to do a full-computer restart if nothing works.
