If you have a lot of buffer overflows right after you leave the spawn and walk into the teleporter put myinfo_bytes 819 into console:
myinfo_bytes 8192
It raises the max of you as client being able to load shit in the map. I think standard is 256 bytes, so 8KB should be enough.
It  isn't a perfect fix but it should help.

For Snapshot overflow run the map in singleplayer before connecting, after loading just walk into the teleporter and then connect to the server.

Hope it helps a bit.

Also, tuning down your game settings will really help with fps issues. The next update of the map should reduce the amount of latency and lag issues.

Yea I ditched higher settings, and honestly it looks the same but runs better. Lights look nicer too.

I don't really have fps issues, the rare RSO / "Memory could not be 'read'" are my problems with the newer map.

This is not always true sometimes higher settings are better as it sends the packets in one huge chunk instead of smaller ones allowing it to read more and therefore lag less.
