And the story goes....
Tsuki is an old soul that has wandered the lands. Long ago in her first life, she was once known as Kilana, The Lady and protector of the village. She watched over the people with a demon the village had created. This demon was special in many ways, and these traits made the demon a target for many who wished to use the demon for their own purposes. One day, the village was attacked by a dark force, ready to take the demon at any cost. A chaotic battle insued and destruction spread, eventually claiming the life of Lady Kilana. Yet, with Kilana's last breath, she spoke a spell that made the demon vanish, becoming a spirit alongside Kilana as she slipped from her mortal coil. After Kilana's death, Kilana's spirit sent the demon back to the mortal realm with the task to protecting the village until Kilana's spirit returns in the form of a child who would start a new and never-ending cycle of life...
When her next life started, she was blessed with the name 'Tsuki' meaning 'Moon'. Her mother saw it fit as Tsuki was born under the light of a full moon. It is no surprise that the conditions of Tsuki's birth gave Tsuki a connection to the moon itself, becoming stronger in its presence. Yet, being tied to the moon, Tsuki is also cursed as she suffers greatly during certain phases of the moon. Tsuki has been reborn in two other lives, making this her third reincarnation. Yet, her reincarnation is not without its troubles, for she does not return alone...
During her explorations beyond her village, she met many different people and lived among them, taking special interest in a man named Matter, the current lord of Caphori. Yet, despite the life she lives, she always finds herself returning home to help protect it and take her place in the village as needed. But this is not her only duty. Just as she returns from the grave, so does the evil that tried to decimate Tsuki's village and claim the demon as its own. That evil has not forgotten its ambitions over the generations, and the demon of the village still remains, but not as it once was. Tsuki is given the additional task of protecting this demon from the returning evils. Despite it all, though, Tsuki continues exploring the outside world, perhaps hoping to find a way to end this great evil which has plagued her and her village for generations...
