People seem to be getting the wrong idea. Some people are roleplaying that outbreak just starting, and others that have been in the outbreak for several years.
The outbreak has been out for about a year and a half. That would give a logical amount of time for the factions do develop like they did.
Most people who are still alive have some kind of combat experience, or they would have not been alive.
Chapter 1 (Current) is set a few days after it's all started, after this we'll probably make it a year.
