I think this would be a fun idea if it kept some of the humor present in the actual game. If you took it seriously it would basically turn into HL2 RP or similar which is boring and stupid for the people who weren't the dictator/secret police. But if it had a tongue-in-cheek vibe and wasn't "srs business" then I think it could be fun

Should be kept between Dark RP and "srs bsns", then it'd be cool.

But there's another issue. Timeline.
How would it work ? One real-time day - one month/year ?

Timeline isn't an issue at all. You just let people roleplay.
It's like a sandbox roleplay. People make out of it what they want as long as it makes sense.
As for that, one real day is one real day in tropico roleplay. Same like on stalker.

I meant, there were MANY events in Cold War like Cuban Crisis, USA take-over of Dominicana, and CIA take-over of some country I don't remember and which was in Latin America.
