Once an order of peacemakers throughout the regions of Crussaria, they now have a greater purpose. They have stumbled apon this foreign land only to find choas and bloodshed.In order to restore peace they must now take more drastic measures than they have previously had to before.
They are a secret order of mages that have taken the time to further understand magic and its ways. Most wizards, warlocks, and mages mearly know magic as the manipulation of energy bent to their will. The mages of the silverhand understand this manipulation better than most. They know that all living things have energy in them therefore all living things have magic in them. Even when a living creature even one as small as grass dies their lifeforce lives on, and although one cannot see it, it is there. And so spellcasters manipulate and use this energy once they've learned how to bend and shape it to their will by using the living essence of those who are dead.....or those who are still living but such spellcasting is forbidden amoungst the Silverhand and is known as necromancery.
While these magicians keep to themselves mostly in their tower of frostcrag spire , and hire or summon others to do their bidding, in times of great distress they can use magic in a way that is unimaginable and thought impossible to unexpirienced spellcasters.
