You walk into an office room to notice a folder on the table, through further examination it says "Strange Murders" on the front and is a Vanilla colored folder, very common in file cabinets, you open it to see a small report in the form of text, then image. It reads.
I was recently assaulted when alone in the HQ, the "Murderer" was armed with a handgun and a bloody knife. When the gun was raised to my head, me being defenseless I followed his orders, leading me into the holding cells. He was only interested on what my profession was and who do I work for. I refused to answer but at the risk of my life I broke, it was a selfish move and I take full responsibility for my foolish actions.
Sadly that wasn't the last I've seen of him, or his work. I later received a note telling me to head to the Bank of America and look inside the vault. Unfortunately I followed it's instructions. I proceeded into the Bank to find it was empty, but when I opened it up, the sight I saw made me gasp in terror...

OOC: FBI would probably do this case, it depends on how well equiped the local agency is to investigate the crime etc. CIA isn't a investigation agency, CIA would be considered intelligence and other secret shit etc.

Yea they would work on the case but usually if the forensics department may not have a device they need they would go to the FBI or sometimes request FBI support.
