In short, the Caravan will rendezvous at the ECCIR and, upon arrival, I will hire several people to guard the Caravan while I send out a designated trader to trade goods. After the Caravan system has matured, it will cover more and more areas. Average pay for rookie guards: 30 and some food
Starter Mission: Metal Scraps
After the player joins the server and gets hold of their bearings, I'll send them out to retrieve metal scraps from the wastes and bring them to my station, which I will ICly sell to other places.
Average Pay per Scrap: 5
City Name: Fort Campbell
Backstory of City: After the bombs went off, a small group of wastelanders took shelter in Fort Campbell, the small group began to fortify around what was left of the previous home to the 101st Airborne, what appears to be large underground storage complex. While no hostile forces have yet to emerge from the complex, expeditions were halted by enough radiation that it would take one hell of a suit of gear to get in. As people began to flood into the city in search of safe land from raiders and the nearby slavers, the population began to build proper defenses, including the two watch towers. While there has not been a formal government system for the fort-turned-city, many local tribes lay claim to the area including Frankie's Republic. As Fort Campbell began to be noticed, caravan routes were established to come through and, after the ECC Independent Radio was established, caravans were an often sight as they came and went. Though many bandits have taken advantage of the obvious routes and have had success in raids against the caravans. Ten years ago, one of the largest bandit groups, the Bloody Nails set up a blockade on the bridge through which the caravans crossed and forced the merchants to pay or be killed. Afterwards, caravan merchants refused to come through until the Bloody Nails were killed. This drove the city to a riot. While many starved, they would not go until a Frankie Republican gathered the strong of the city and lead them into a charge. Out of the thirty that left, twenty six died including the Republican. But the sacrifice was not in vain, as the blockade was destroyed and the Caravan's resumed, although conservatively. Today, the city thrives with business within its population of 100 permanent residents as many businesses are starting to grow. Good luck, Wastelander, you'll need it to survive around here.
I guess the rest on caravans wasn't really needed. Anyways, there was more, guess those'll be posted later?
my sis kind of jacked my comp to check Facebook and she killed Steam in the process so I lost all of that. Feel free to post it here if you wish.
Will do later. Just a bit busy at the moment.
