More info about factions will be writed once we finish the script, and the server will be playable(Its already playable, but you know'). Maybe it will even get finished till this week's friday.

Thanks for reading. Ohh, and theres a very nice anti-noob system, With 10 questions, one of them is bugged, but it will be fixed till the release. Or something. There's even a /seatbelt command, and if thats not on, Cops can punish you ;)

I played SA:MP RP long time ago, oh and believe me, almost every second person uses a cheat.
And a LOT of RDM. mmmm.
SA:MP RP is as good as DarkRP, I'm just saying.

OH and I remember that HGN's SA:MP RP fail and I don't see any future success for this one.

Yeah, you was using cheats. And thats the reason to go on a normal RP server, where admins are working, and on /adminduty and ban magolas who are cheating like shit.
This is my third year with SA:MP, and I still like it, and play with it. Its one of the best mods for GTA SA, and the next versions will even get better. (SA:MP 0.3b<0.4<<<<)

Well theres also an SA:MP cheater auto ban system that detects Sobeit etc automatically and bans them directly. The biggest German RP server called German-Roleplay also has this system and everywhone who tries get kicked or banned dicrectly with a acctual message saying what they have done.

Guess I'll have to torrent SA:MP again..

About the factions: First of all, you see we are leading them. We will lead them (I guess) till the faction will have enough players/members, and when someone deserves the Leader rank, they'll get it, etc. But I will talk about this with Steam.

We just need more Civilian jobs.
A wide variety.

You get 100$ for each delivered newspapers to a house.

=Product Delivery=
/startdelivery
25$ for every delivered products (You can only deliver 1-1 products) to each house

100$ For a long road clean.

=Trucker Job=
You get in the truck, go through the Golden Gate to the small city, pick up the trailer, go back in San Fierro/Pheonix City, and go to the businesses delivering the stuffs. Your trailer won't dissappear/taken unless you blow up,or something.
You get: 100$-1000$ money for each business. Or what.

=When you own a business, at the paychecks you'll get the money from the business, what people spent in it.
Example:
Adam Juliett (Random name) goes in the Burger Shot(You can rename your businesses) and buys some hamburgers for 50$.
=PAYCHECK=
Joseph Oak gets a +50$ to his paycheck, but loses like 200$ caused by the bills. <-FAIL.

And we'll add more jobs. Ohh, and there's even the Taxi Job, you can set the fee, when someone gets in the taxi, (RAXX: OMG CAXI) it will say: The fee is 50-100-150$. And when you leave the taxi, you'll lose that amount of money, and the Taxi Driver gets it.
I think there's even more jobs:::: But I don't know, didn't really check them all.

Weapon Dealing(?)

oh god. I quit that habit years ago.
I remember playing on the original godfather server that then turned into sin city rp after fear released the script.
and then there was that other sever that spawned using a modded godfather script which eventually merged with valhalla who had bought a version of the godfather script off of fear and just so much internet drama in it.
Is there even enough people to crowd the server for good role play? because if you're going to have 10-15 people at max as the high point of the day then this won't work.
If you have something more around 30-50 and up this will work.
If you have like 5-10 factions and expect them to not be off balance then youd need a lot more.
Otherwise you end up with 20 cops. 5 FBI. 10-20 mobsters in all. and then a mix of whats left of the rejects who couldnt make it into the factions. and im talking this is in all not that will be online.

such a type of a server would take so much work and many people who actually know how to RP well.



Factions would need caps on how many members they can have just so one faction isnt inbalance compared to the other. you would need side jobs for the civilians too. and illegal ones and its smarter to takeuse only one city btw. two never works and thats about it. for now.

Oh and I have a very extended list of role play experience and leadership just incase it turns out i get readdicted.
I lead one mafia when the revert back to 5 familys happened (whatever was a light blue color)
I lead the news team for a while on sin city rp.
I was apart of yakuza when they were called godfather rp.
I was apart of another mafia when it was also back to 5 familys (whatever was red)
I was apart of the russian mafia when it was sin city rp.
I was leader of the japanese or chinese mafia at another point; I dont remember which but i do remember owning a casino and starting a second business and started the south pacfic asian uprising at the time.
I was once a doctor for the hospital which involved lots and lots and lots of roleplay. It nearly murdered my fingers typing at 40wpm (I type 70 now).
I've been roleplaying for about 2 or 3 years now.


Oh and from past experience san fierro was the best city to use. Los Santos is too big so theres just 1 person per mile type of deal going on there.
Venturas is almost good but when you actually try it it odesnt work because theres only casinos and everyone mainly goes onthe main strip even if you say youll be different you wont. With San Fierro theres a good diversity of things. youve got the car place near the dmv. the really nice hotel place close by too. youve got that long road along the side leading to the club. youve  got plenty of buldings that are realistic to use for stores unlike most in venturas. Its a  good size to enter role play with compared to los santos since it doesn't have this annoying spacing of everyone being to far away and then forming to one localized place everyone ends up going too.

lol, I never had a problem with cheaters on Valhalla (popular RP server I went on,) or any other RP server I remember going on, so you must just have a bad anti-cheating system, or haven't been on any 'good' servers. That's just my two cents.

and you don't want the players to make their own groups? no gangs or anything? not even people starting their own businesses?

We only put up the test-server for like 1-2 hours, and do the things on it, the IP changes every time we put it up. So giving an IP is useless.

And FourTwenty, Its Silver's decision if the players will be allowed to make their own factions, I GUESS.
About the Anti-Cheat shit, we are working on it. There was a very nice one in it: You bought a phone in the shop, and the server banned you for money hacking. :g

Uhm.. Suggestion. Don't work on Factions now since we dont know if we will have Triads, Serbs, Nigs, Mafia, all that stuff. That comes with RP. Also, modify the weapon damages so it's more realistic. Just some ideas/tips

I checked it out with Szenti last night, its gonna be good.

Fixed that bug, where the Faction ID's went up to 50-Or more, and then they did dissappear. (THANKS TO DEVRICK : D)

Well. Thats all for now, for thers we are doing something else: replacing the texts infront of houses/businesses, it will be still a week or more then : p.
To Silver: Yes, replacing them would be good, and all. BUT, it will take more then, what about just decreasing the text's range, so you won't see the text infront of the door from the behind of the building, you have to go close (2-3 metres?)and it will showw upp.
