Well, At CES this year Microsoft announced the new version of windows. They say Windows 7 will be coming out from late this year to two-thousand and eleven. They say it will fix the bugs that happened to windows vista and hopefully not fuck up. So lets see what everyone thinks.

This will not help us, hell it'll probably make it worse. Every time a new version of windows comes out, Everyone gets bugged. But after a while they work the bugs out eventually. this'll be another vista waiting to happen.
I agree that they should hold off on another one. It's too soon and people are still getting used to Vista. Instead of working on something else to fix Vista's bugs, just work on Vista imho.
They already said vista was a mistake, so their trying to make this one work better. From the beta I saw it looks like vista. but sleeker.
I hate the look of that new bar.. it's really ugly... but some of the new stuff is great !

I'm heavily researching into it. Plus I've tested the public beta in my IT class. I really like it.
So whats new with it?
All of the explorer coding has been redone, which means it's hella faster. I ran 7 on my older PC. An AMD Athlon 2.0GHz single core, 1GB of RAM, and an X1650 256MB video card. It runs just as good, if not, better than Windows XP.
They've redone UAC so you have even more control of how strict it is, having it below the default it fine for me. It warns me occasionally about certain things I'm doing that are dangerous. But if you like, you can turn it even lower or to off.
The Windows task bar is a billion times more useful now, it's more efficient and neat.
Compatibility is was clearly something they worked on. Anything that worked on Vista (which is by now, nearly everything) also works for Windows 7. Even drivers and what have you.
Windows 7 is, in truth, an improved version of Vista. But it's and understatement to take it as just that. This is Vista completed, polished, fine tuned, and optimized. This is the most impressive beta I've seen. I can't wait to see what the final product will be like. I'll most definitely get a copy of this when it comes out.
You cant beat Leopard, just stop computer company's that aren't Apple. Give up, you fail.
