So after wanting to do it since i was younger, ive decided that im going to finally get my license and begin to play airsoft as a sport, with pro grade weapons.
Any of you guys currently doing it?

Why do you need license?
A. because in britain, its illigal to have replica weapons, and airsoft are replica guns that shoot 8mm plastic pellets.
B. I aint doing it yet... but i am planning on starting up soon.

It's not illegal.
It's illegal to BUY airsoft weapons if you're under 18, and illegal to buy one as a gift to a person less than 14 years of age, and illegal to buy ammunition if your under 17.
You don't need a license for airsoft, I don't think.

Sorry i didnt explain it clearly, Its illigal to not own a licence to own Full replica weapons, if you dont own a licence, then you need a two tone replica, which is 50% colored such as blue or orange, but the legal age is 16 i believe, and i'm looking forward to be driving to accually start up, since the closest scenario to me is around 30-45 minutes away.
Yeah, unfortunately mine is Half red / Half green. Still, nothing black spray paint can't fix.

I have my really good M14 as stated in the other thread, but it's shit for CQB. The thing is long and heavy. Waiting for a good automatic AEG. I don't want a cliche AK-47 or an M4/M16 though. I had my eyes on a G36C, but then I spent all of my money on stuff.

Thats the airsoft I have right now. Its all plastic, fires a 0.12g pellet at 110 FPS.

Because paintball gear is SO FUCKING EXPENSIVE. It's at least $300 for a good gun... paintballs are fucking AMAZINGLY expensive, too.

I have a KWA G36c, A Galaxy Mp5k, A KSC Glock 18c (Broken atm). All we have is CQB around Portland. So nothing above 350 FPS. :C

Would be interested in airsoft but no one near me plays it and the nearest legit field is like 75 miles away. That and I'm on a sponsored paintball team
I'd play paintball instead of AirSoft, but's it better to play in abandoned houses and not fuck up the building or your clothes.

I use to have a mp5 model and a ak47 but they all broke to shit after I went to a friends game. There was about 20 of us. I had a cheap gas pistol also. I think I need to buy another gun since he is haveing the war again.

for an AEG, our limit is 368 FPS, for Bolt action its 500FPS.

Heavy weapons guy here.
I wanted to do Airsoft but in the US it's not as sponsored so I went with paintball. You can't really compare the two since paintball is like a sport and Airsoft is like an actual battle.
I'm really happy this thread hasn't turned into a paintball/airsoft war and I'm surprised at how many people actually do this stuff. I might end up buying some more gunz, I dunno. My main one is fucked up 'till I can take it apart...I think there's a BB stuck inside.
