Title: Sound issue

Is it me or is it just everyone?
I can hear my weapon fire, but cant hear the sound off of anyone elses?

All-around issue. The sounds are borked, I do believe. Would be awesome if they were fixed so you could actually hear if someone was shooting at you.

It has to do with the script i believe. Because before i left Kuros the distance worked properly and you can hear gunshots depending on their distance. Snipers were always maxed.

Been like that for a long time. And out of the 2 years SRP has been around, not one person has bothered to try and fix it. I think it cannot be fixed, honestly.

There was a fix earlier called sound manifestation... It got lost in the eternity of threadwhoring.

(We need a search function ASAP)

OKay, I've searched every page of the Section i'de think it'de be under (all 6 pages of The Cordon, Dev, Management, HGN general, etc).


can't find ANYTHiNG about sound manifestation.

Relying on google search now...

Found this neat little page but it isn't horribly related. Well it is, it's about SEWPs but yeah;

I think it's the gunsounds, the stalker ones cannot be heard by others.

Replace with CSS or others for now?

Most likely the V-Sound was defined in the LUA but maybe the W-Sound wasnt? i remember when i made my first Beam rifle in GMOD9 and no one could hear it and thats because the World sound was defined as NULL

But true only thing I can hear is bullet impact. <.<
