Title: The Zone - Rush. (Non-Rp)

This is a new idea of mine I thought up when I had a little too much coffee last night. It's not intended to be Canon to Stalker, it's just a fun idea.
Note: This is more of a team-death-match / attack-defend style game, but with the requirements of the player, he / she would need to fight smart. Not everything we do has to be based upon Roleplay.

The Objective:
The Objective is to get to the center of the Zone. (The Zone being an edited version of Redemption, or a completely new map.)
One team is set to defend the center, IE: The Monolith team. The Monolithians are well-armed, so fighting them in a head-on-fight would be unwise, so strategy and smart fighting are required.
The objective is to also stay alive, there are other teams wanting to get to the center of the Zone too, so you can either leave them and save your ammunition for the Monolith, or gun them down giving you a higher chance of getting to the center.

The Teams:
There will be several teams, each has a slightly different objective, and each team's rankings have different selection of equipment.
Each rank will have different armour.

Team Monolith.
Set on defending the center of the Zone. These men are well armed, and as mentioned earlier they are not to be fought in a head-on-fight.
Ranks:
Commandant. (Max: 1).
Armour: Monolith Exo-Suit.
Weaponry: VSS, OC-14 Groza, Desert Eagle, KaBar.

Officer: (Max: 3.)
Armour: Monolith SEVA suit.
Weaponry: GP37 (G36), Walther P99, KaBar.

Soldier. (Max: 8.)
Armour: Monolith Suit.
Weaponry: TRS-101 (LR-300), Sig P220, KaBar.


Team Duty.
The Duty faction is intent on protecting the world and the innocent from the harshness of the Zone.
To protect the World, they must reach the center, for some reason this will protect the Innocent.

Major. (Max: 1.)
Amour: Duty Exo-Suit.
Weaponry: OC-14 Groza, Ak-74M, Desert Eagle, KaBar.

Colonel . (Max: 3.)
Armour: Duty SEVA suit.
Weaponry: An-95 Obokan, Sig P220, KaBar.

Private. (Max: 8.)
Amour: Duty foot soldier armour.
Weaponry: Ak-74M, Fort-12, KaBar.


Team Freedom.
Anarchists and daredevils, willing to try anything in order to get to the center.

Legendary. (Max: 1.)
Armour: Freedom Exo-suit.
Weaponry: GP37, TRS-101, Desert Eagle, KaBar.

Officer. (Max: 3.)
Armour: Freedom SEVA suit.
Weaponry: Oc-14 Groza, Walther P99, KaBar.

Novice. (Max: 8.)
Armour: Freedom foot soldier armour.
Weaponry: TRS-101, M9 Beretta, KaBar.


Team Military
The Ukrainian Military; corrupt, lazy, but powerful.

General. (Max: 1.)
Armour: Military Exo.
Weaponry: VSS, GP-37, Desert Eagle, KaBar.

Corporal. (Max: 3.)
Armour: Skat-9.
Weaponry: OC-14 Groza, Walther P99, KaBar.

Private. (Max: 8.)
Armour: Military foot soldier armour.
Weaponry: AK-74M, Fort-12, KaBar.


Team Stalkers.
Stalkers of the Zone. The Lone-wolves, the one-man-armies.

Master. (Max: 2.)
Armour: Stalker Exo-Suit.
Weaponry: OC-14 Groza, SVD, Sig P220, KaBar.

Experienced. (Max: 4.)
Armour: Stalker Suit.
Weaponry: An-95 Obokan, Viper-5, Walther P99, KaBar.


Team Mutants.
The Zone's victims.

Snork. (Max: 3.)
Abilities: Able to leap distances / Deals large amounts of damage.

Zombie. (Max: 4.)
Abilities: Unable to sprint / Huge amount of HP.
Weaponry: AK-74u.

Bloodsucker. (Max: 4.)
Abilities: Able to become invisible.


Team Mercenaries.
Armies for hire. Well-equipped soldiers, fighting for the highest bidder.

Master. (Max: 2.)
Armour: Mercenary Exo-Suit.
Weaponry: OC-14 Groza, SVD, Sig P220, KaBar.

Experienced. (Max: 4.)
Armour: (Selection of models?) Mercenary suit.
Weaponry: TRS-101, Viper-5, Walther P99, KaBar.

The Map.
If I gain permission from Silver Knight to modify the first version of Redemption, I will modify it to meet this new game mode's requirements.
If drops were to be added, it would seem a little more like stalker, finding ammunition and medkits and such. Maybe the odd weapon drop?

Communication.
I don't remember the console command, but it enables team-talking only. (Via Microphone.)
If a quick-command box were to be created (As seen in HL2 RP.) with commands seen in team fortress 2, such as:

Head Left!
Head Right!
Go! Go! Go!
Take cover!
Incoming!

Etc.

The Script.
I was thinking, maybe we can use a modified version of the current Radiation script. Modified so it serves the gameplay at hand instead of roleplay which it isn't.

Emissions / Blowouts.
If these could be implemented, it would create a lot of fun and fast-paced movement and panic amongst the teams, where they rush to find a safe hiding place.
Imagine the panicking down the microphone, lol.

I doubt it would take much modification, only thing here to consider is the map, and maybe the script. It would certainly be popular, maybe you could add some donator slots on the server. (Like- Donating X amount gives you an FN-2000. Donating XX amount gives you a reserved slot, etc.)

Sounds like a pretty good idea, support++;

I love this idea. Would help with the feeling of need to shoot something but still be in a "STALKER RP" set-of-mind.

Maybe a few people in the communty perfer this game mode, but it's his community and servers. (and afro's i'm pretty sure)

Good idea, you could play the faction you love, and this could limit STK on the server, if people want to shoot other in enemy faction suits, why not do it in the STALKER Deathmatch server =D

This could potentially be awesome.

It'de hopefully be a BIT more then DM.

If it's just Dm or CTA (Capture the Artifact) might aswell just play STALKER.

Well I Kind of Support this. I would enjoy it thoughrly - Maybe have it more of a faction war server?
