Humans like things to complain about, and we like to feel more important and dominant over everyone and everything else.
If you encounter a bad roleplayer, you immediately feel dominant and want to complain about it. If the bad roleplayer complains you will immediately intercept his argument and completely blow away his side with knowledge and logic, thus dominating him and feeling supreme.
Humans like Victory, in real life and in our little roleplaying worlds; it's what we aim for. We will sometimes set examples of roleplay, examples showing that defeat is fine, but deep down when we're defeated in battle, or if we lost a non-existing object in our inventory; we, will, RAAAAAGE! We will scream on the top of our voices: "SILVER! FIX THE GODDAMN SCRIPT!"
Us roleplayers are elitist, victory-driven, defeat-fearing bunch.

I love you so much slim, this what I have been sub-consciously thinking my whole time here. So the real question is, how can we get the same domination/progressive feel that doesn't have to do with shooting the hell out of others?
We are all little Hitlers, and it makes it so happy.
And Hostel, we can make drugs which will give us that feeling!

The mere knowledge of having better grammar, roleplaying insight and knowledge is enough to defeat any morsol.
I think some role players fear that adding more gameplay elements will decrease the role play activity. I think much the opposite, in my own experience on servers here and many others that when I was able to do something fun and fulfill my urge for domination and progression, I felt much more motivated to role play better while I was having fun.
Roleplay is all about who wins and who loses.
