It isn't Soviet. It's American. It seems most people think it's a BRDM-2, when in reality it's obviously a Cadillac Gage Commando.
Tell me what an old retired American APC would be doing near Chernobyl?

Possibly, but personally I'd just prefer is someone could find a model of a BRDM-2, port it to source, and update the StalkerRP models pack with it in it.
Even better, pull off the BTR-80 (I haven't looked close enough, it could be a BTR-70) from STALKER SoC and put it in the game.
It does make me wonder. However, a number of Asian countries, such as Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Vietnam also use the APC. The thing is, though, is that map creators assume it's of Russian design. Just look at it, it's easily mistakable as a BDRM-2. I mean, I didn't even know until you corrected me today. So I think, that OOCly, the map makers just thought it was a BDRM-2. If we need a good IC reason, mercenaries seems logical, especially since a multitude of Asian countries utilize the vehicle.
So yeah, that would be pretty cool if we could have a BDRM-2 model.

I have the Military Model pack, and I don't recall a BDRM. Only a BTR of some sort (70 or 80), and it's oversized as fuck (Something like 3 times that of the MOWAG Piranha/Stryker that's also in the pack) when you compare it to the real thing.
It doesn't matter...Just RP with it, after all, it doesn't matter WHAT kind of APC it is.
