In the year 20XX, the world has came to a stand still as war and money have taken over the entire populaces lives. But one day, the worlds powers (Or should i say power) setteled there (its) diffrences... and pited them agienst each other in the areana instead!
The entire worlds economy relies on the areana for nearly 20% of the worlds jobs and 70% of the declineing gory standtard of entertainment, not to mention that 98% of the world is in a state of poverty due to over-population. Even childeren and people alike watch as there freinds and family are torn apart in the areana in frount of there eyes, hopeing one day they can avenge there deaths or earn some money in the prosses.
There is one areana game that has the dystopian worlds TVs in a lock of bidding and screaming. S.P.R.I.N.T, thousands of rounds going on a once, people all around the world bid for there winner in the un-rewarding blood sport!
You are a S.P.R.I.N.T combatant, dosent matter what your here for, just get out there and ...SPRINT!Sprint is a gamemode i have devised inwitch players must get from A to B... sound easy... I. Think. Not!
Players must fight there way past armys of enemys and evade ilusive (and random) traps to make there way to the win zone.
The server will run in rounds, 10 players (Or more?) on a loop.
Before a round starts, players buy there weaponry, equipment and choose the round difficulty (Easy, modurate, hard) before the round starts.
When a player first joins the server, they start an account, they then create a Char (Max of 3). they then choose a name (remember this is NON-RP) then a skin* and there stats, you will be given 5 starting points to assign to any of these stats-
Stamana, how fast and long your sprint lasts for.
Endurence, how long much punishment you can handle, dictates how much HP you have.
Aim, how well you aim, increases your accuracy
Acrobatics, how far and high you can jump.
Depending on your stats, you will be labed acordingly.
For instance, If you have 3 AIM and 2 STA you will be labeld a sniper.
3 END, 1 STA, 1 AIM = Tanker
3 STA, 2 END = Rusher
3 STA, 1 ACR, 1 AIM = Sneaker
ect. ect. There will be more.
You can buy more stats later.
They also are given a free 20c to begin!
Player, once the round starts, must find there way to the "Win zone". They can do this be any means neccecry, as a team, on there own, rush it, camp till everyone dies or just sneak in.
In SP_ maps, there are meny ways of getting from A to B, eg, you can rush it, going the main way, takeing alot of fire and geving it all back or you can take the back way, alot more traps and a little longer and requires you to have at least some acrobatics, but is a little less punishing on your pocket and your HP.
What ever you do, players know that the winnings from each round will be divied amoung them, thus the less there are, the more there is, incorageing betraly and PVP combat!
If you die in a round, you loose your weapon, ammo and other stuff you have brought, but if you win a round, you keep all the stuff you had from the previous round, excluding ammo.
You even keep things over sessions. eg, you buy a granade, you exit the server, come back, and you still have it. Sort of like STALKER inventory system... but not glitched.
Armour, costs alot and you keep it even if you die, Il come back to this later.

Now, onto the weapons. weapons are split into 5 catagorys,
Speed, fast fireing.
Accurate, an accurate gun.
Damage, 'high' damage.
Round, good all round gun.
Cheap, good for your money, but not for your kills.

Why such high prices i hear you ask? Well i feel that people should really not be "Spray pray spray" but be more tactical with who and where there shooting. makeing the "Im just going to kill everything i see" to "I think il leave that mob and just leave it for somone else to waste there ammo on"

Armour..
Armour is earned throu winning a certain amount of rounds, then is brought. This stop poeple from whoreing money and getting the best armour known the SPRINT. Armour also soaks up 99% of damage done.

Stats-
People start with 5 stats point as you already know. But people can buy an extra 5 for a certain amount of credits.
You can also spend money on re-assinging your stats
Stat re-set costs 500c
6th stat - 1000c
7th stat - 2200c
8th stat - 3300c
9th stat - 4400c
Final stat - 6000c

NPCs NPCs spawn at certain point in the map, sort of like the L4D director.
If a player kills an NPC, he or she will get 1c as a reward!
1 spawn point will only be able to support 5 on easy, 7 on moderate and 10 on hard, NPCs at one time.
A spawn point only respawns a NPC after 10 seconds but at the start of the game, the 3 most closeist spanw point already have there npcs spawned.
If a player is nearby the spawn point, it will spawn nothing, this stops people from camping.
Along the map there will be around 10 along the map, passes throu the final portal to the finale, the passges to the rest fo the map will be closed!
NPCs weapons will be the AR2, dose 10 damage per hit, alot more accurate and disapears apon death.
NPCs have a health of 100, and 20 armour on moderate and 50 armour on hard. Only 100 health on easy.
Possible NPC - http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/?a=view&id=58766 makes sence that armys of robots will be sent to there doom, dosent it?

Traps-
Traps will work like the ghost in NT.
There will be certain places where they can acure, but wont acure there all the time, Eg, one round in SP_AntiEtopia, the turrets will activate near the poilice station, the next they wont but mines will active instead.
Or in SP_ToaMist (il get onto these later), the pungi sticks will activate this round, aswell at the pit trap but next, none activate.
What im typing is, traps are random, nuff said.

Maps and finales-

Maps are set out in a courses, there is one main route you can take, guarded by a moderate amount of traps and alot of NPCs but is the most straigt forward. Requiers you to shoot stuff!
In SP_Anti_Etopia, this would be the main roads. Creaters filled with mines, NPC baracades armed to the teet, sniper nests and cars rigged to expload!
In SP_Castel_Mist, this would be the beaten track, filled with NPC camps, Pillboxes and tripwires There is a High route, this is a way that requires stamana, acrobatics and parkour skills. There ill still be NPCs incorparated in someway.
In SP_Anti_Etopia, this is the roof tops, with a massive drop to the street level, it will take guts hoping the roof tops. With unstable boardwalks and foundations, pick your steps carefully!
in SP_Castel_Mist, this would be the cliff side, with giant chasams leading to the sea below, watch out for falling rocks abouv and weak stepping rocks, you would of wondered "Why!?"There could even be a puzzle element to the maps, forceing team work and one pleace, but spliting them up at another.
Just before the "Win zone" at the end of the level there is a Finale. There are a certain amount of preset happenings in a finale, Eg, its random.

Good, its great you all like it, but maybe i could get some constructive critisims.
I remember in Trinity DM, you pressed a button and a buy menu came up with implants and stats and weapons and all that good stuff.
Sp, how about it then, work on this and Alien infestation? Feel like the right time.

Heres my few cents:
4-5 agility should give you dodge bonuses against gunfire
I like the implant idea previously mentioned.
You should have VERY specific special abilities for your class based people, i.e
DASHER should be able to hit their special class skill button (maybe replace this with how CS has the menu of commands to say? Like instead make it a menu brought up by hitting C, so you can select what you want to do AND have preset keys aswell), which would enable them to sprint 1.5 times faster but when they slow down they move -50% (Just thought about it but it sounds like BONK from TF2 >.> I didn't use that for inspiration though.)
The high Stam guys should be able to get temporary HP so they can take a few more bullets while running form cover.
and if some one is really high level, and has like 4 in all stats, then they can use any of them.
Also, these skills would be ore stat based, like it requires 4 stam and 3 end would allow you to use a skill.
+Support But only after SK is done with everything and needs a new idea
