I've been thinking of forming a U.S. Army Faction. but i can't see a reason to why they are in the zone in the first place. If i were to have a reason for that would i be allowed to create the faction?
I allready have Medals, Rewards and Every rank from the real U.S. army but its just that we allready have a Mili Faction so this would be like. alomost the same thing.. so i dunno..
Am i allowed to create the faction?

There'd be no reason at all for the US Army to be in Chernobyl. Maybe like SF soldiers or something but not the regular Army. Even then it'd still be weird.

Silly Idea, Us Military don't belong in Ukraine, much less the zone, closest you will get to that is NATO, and even then, their job is not going and retrieving artifacts or guarding the zone...
Well, if you think about it. big explosions twice in a row and someone else is gonna raise a eyebrow. Pentagon or something might send in a unit or two to find out what's happened. Probably wouldn't send in a whole army though to be honest.

I'm not, and it's because the person volunteering to make the faction has bad spelling,
as well as the fact that we've disbanded extra factions because of the hassle. We have enough as it is.

I can see Special Forces or Force Recon to retrieve artifacts for US scientists to study them and seeing America is a nosy country and usually gets into other country's business eh it's plausible. But however very unlikely. More then likely if they sent SF troops to the zone it would be a violation of International Law so it would have to be a black tie operation (Meaning they take nothing with them that shows that they are American.) And even then Satellites and UAV's have probably penetrated the airspace of the zone and gotten pictures they would only send a recovery team to the zone for artifacts like I said heh. But they would most likely use mercs too since it would save a few of there best men and let someone else get artifacts for American scientists.
It'd be cool to have black ops, though. With their own cool model and silenced weapons.
If they were black ops they probably wouldn't interact much with the locals so the RP they add is nonexistent.

No one has a problem with military/government forces in the Zone, it's that the US really probably doesn't have a feasible way to get people to the Zone. Remember the Zone isn't the easiest place to get into to begin with, and a bunch of Americans running around with high tech gear would surely be noticed.

The US wouldn't have much or any interest in the Chernobyl area. Even if they did, I bet they wouldn't wanna' waste a lot of money and a lot of time to get a handful of artifacts. I bet they would pay for these artifacts on the black market, with new stuff popping up everywhere in the Zone a profit from international buyers would support the boom in this market.
This way the US army has no need to get involved, it would cost more for a select elite bunch to be flown half way across the world, undercover, without being seen by ANYONE, and to be into the Zone.
So again, No support.
