A brief summary of his or her backstory: Arthur had been just getting used to life as he saw it before he came to The Zone; family, a house, and just recently graduated; All he could've asked for. He heard that there were artifacts to be found in The Zone, artifacts of great value to the right people, seeing as work was hard to find with his career path, he decided that this kind of work was his only choice. Sure, something may have come along eventually in life, but he couldn't wait. He was desperately in need of money and had debts to pay.

He had heard of The Zone and it's treasures, but he had not heard of just quite how many dangers awaited him, nor had he had heard of the Ecologists; the group of scientists who researched the Zone and sought to find out what had made it and how it had come to be like this. Possibly he'd dismissed the life-saving advice and brushed it aside as if it was nothing, the warnings that he should not venture there and that to go there to find his riches was foolish and he must've been not thinking right. He soon came to a town within The Zone that had a small party of Ecologist Researchers and scientists stationed there after one of their trips into the wastelands. He took into account their appearance, admiring it in some way before he headed to the bar, or what was the equivalent of a bar in this wasteland. There he got talking to some STALKERS who were looking for 'brave adventurers' to go with them and hunt for artifacts, the pay was good for just going out and getting some relic for two, what would seem, drunkards in a bar.

Suicide. That was the only word to describe his choice to go there. He had been paired with another STALKER, nice guy. About his height with dark brown hair, only a few years older than himself. He'd also come to The Zone with the same vision that Arthur had. The pair had reached the point where the artifact was supposed to be. They stepped through the doors, a hollow concrete frame, of what would've been some form of appartments building. The STALKER moved through the doorway ahead of Arthur, making his way a few metres ahead of the door as he fumbled with his belt, searching for his flashlight. THUD, Arthur looked up with his flashlight on to see something cave in the head of his former partner, he hadn't of even made a sound, just fallen to the floor with a steady flow of blood coming from the point of impact. Arthur pulled his makarov, his finger slipping around the trigger as he fired into the darkness, his lack of firearms training showing as he failed to handle the Makarov correctly. The torches light no longer clear with the flashes of gunfire. He heard a groan and a growl, not a human. In the flashes he saw only one thing, something arc it's way through the air and strike him in the arm. He clutched his arm in agony, a feeling as if it had been pummeled with a nail'd baseball bat. He screamed out in pain as he fired the rest of the magazine into the darkness, before turning and fleeing. Just then had he noticed how cruel and unforgiving this wasteland could be, and the sorts of people who would do such things as to get innocents to die for hopes of wealth. Yet he found himself intrigued, despite all this chaos and death he felt himself wanting to find out more about the zone and the secrets it held.

Staggering his way back to town had taken hours and by the time he had arrived dawn had broken. He seeked out medical attention at the town, a doctor patched him up although Arthur couldn't help but contradict some of his methods and offer his own knowledge and advice as he effectively directed his own medical examination. He had asked about who the people that were researching were, those who had been there the other day, he was told about the Ecologists and how they were all qualified scientists in The Zone looking to seek the beginning of the mutations of the land and inhabitants and a cure to fight the corruption. He immeadiately went after them the way they had gone to enlist with his qualifications into the Ecologists.

Denied. Familiarise yourself with the Ecologists themselves, they're a government organisation unlikely to 'properly' employ a Stalker, qualifications or not. Hang around for a bit and re-apply once you're up to speed with Stalker.

A brief summary of his or her backstory:
My name is Richard L. Vangraff, I was born and raised in Texas most of my life. Though my first couple years in school I was normal. Then I reached my last years of middle school I grew a small curiosity for science. When I Reached High school I had to pick classes, I had chose science and major language would be Russian. I first walked into my biology and chemistry classes I realized that I only scratched the surface of what there is to Science. Threw out my four years in high school I realized that small curiosity I had before had grown into a passion so that each week I would look at what colleges had to offer in ecology.
    Once I was accepted into A&M I studied ecology and other major fields to understand how thing worked. This caused me to work with my professor, A brilliant man from the Ukrainian. He thought me the rest of what I needed to learn and at my graduation he left me a PDA at my apartment, with it a note talking of a place he had once had the chance to go to called "The Zone." In the PDA he left was information on how to reach this application to have a chance to study things called anomalies and other things in the place called "The Zone". In my time before going to the zone I had a wife but sadly on the day on 9/11 I lost her during the dust storm caused by the towers collapse due to a car hitting her, so after that i had nothing to lose.
Now that I have came to the zone once before and eventually became leader of the Ecologist bunkers research division for two years before eventually going back home to america on leave. Now I plan on returning to the zone under the directive of the new bunkers leader in hopes of offering my past experience in the zone and it's inhabitants to better help the new research team. I look forward to sharing my knowledge and skills to better help understand this mystery of science called the zone.

He studied in Odessa University for 15 years, granting a Kandidat Nauk degree (PhD equivalent) And Doctor Nauk degree(Doctorate) in Chemistary & Biology. Up-on finishing his degree he served some time off the coast of Ukraine in Black Sea, researching the effects of the pollution on the local organisms, he spent only a couple of years there before sending his application to Kiev, in hope of his re-assignment to the Zone.

Dmitry was born into a family of aspiring doctors with a high standard of expectations. By the time he had begun secondary school, his older brother had already been accepted into Lugansk State Medical University to study to become a doctor. Dmitry wasn't as smart as his brother but he managed to achieve 11 and 12's in most of his subjects, with the exception of English and Geography. As he reached the end of his secondary school education Dmitry continued to study science, but much to the dismay of his parents, he found himself more interested in a career in Physics than in medical sciences.
He left school with qualifications in physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics, and was hoping to continue to continue his physics to a higher education at university, but his parents refused to pay for university entry unless he decided to study in medicine. At the age of 22 he finally left home and rented an apartment in the city of Chernivtsi and paid for it with a part time job however despite his efforts he could not find a job that could support university fees and spent most of his nights drinking himself silly. A year later however, he bumped into Andrei, one of his best friends from secondary school who had gone on to start his own company developing scientific analytical instruments. He was searching for employees and some discussion agreed to cover Dmitry's university costs if he came to work at his company. Dmitry came out of university six years later with a Doctor of Sciences qualification and spent the next eleven years working for Andrei until he died of lung cancer and his company went bankrupt, resulting in everyone being let off. It was soon after that he was approached by Government for a position among the Ecologists. He accepted the position and moved to Kiev where he worked for the next two years before being assigned to active research inside the Zone after a colleague of his was declared Missing In Action, providing an opening.

A brief summary of his or her backstory:  Alexei Popov was born in a well off family, from a young age he had large gardens and so off course this mean that that his family had lots of pets, this included 3 dogs, 2 cats, 5 horses and a large pond that included many aquatic animals. But his favourite pet was one of the 3 dogs. His name was Borzois. He was a Labrador. Alexei loved this dog so much that he spent all the time he could with this dog, this meant that his school work was going downhill. Alexei was a smart child but he didn't do any school work as he didn't have time due to spending time with Borzois. Due to his love of dogs, Alexei wanted to become a dog walker, but as it came up to his final exams, Borzois took a turn for the worse. Unfortunately Borzois got very ill and no vets could save him. This turned Alexei's point of view completely. Alexei was determined to become a great vet, so people would not feel the pain he did. Between times of crying, Alexei did some hard-core revision. Alexei got a C's in his sciences and this was enough. By time he was 18 Alexei moved to the state of New York to go to The Cornell Veterinarian University and took a degree in Veterinarian. By time Alexei finished his course he was an expert Vet. And Alexei moved back to Russia and began to care about other people pets, and help them out.  On one gloomy day, after a bad day at work, Alexei got a nervous call. It turned out that someone in the Zone had a dog that had an illness like Alexei did when he was younger. Alexei know how dangerous the zone is (he heard about it on the news), but he knew he had to help out this person. So Alexei broke into the zone, and helped out this person. As Alexei first feared the dog had the same illness as his old dog. But Alexei knew he was able to fix this. And as he thought he did. Alexei did this, he did what he wanted as a young boy, and became a successful, and became one of the best vets around. And then, out of the bloom Alexei got a call from the Ukrainian government...
