Title: Official Freedom Spray
Post by: Paintcheck on 12-06-2009
This is always fun to spray near places Duty patrols and what not to piss them off.

Put the .VTF file in C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\[yourname]\garrysmod\garrysmod\materials\VGUI\logos\freedom1.vtf
and also in ...\VGUI\logos\UI

The .VMT files goes in C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\[yourname]\garrysmod\garrysmod\materials\VGUI\logos\freedom1.vmt

and another one goes in ...\VGUI\logos\UI

My picture won't work so here's a link to the whole page. (You need to remove the periods in stalker because the forum automatically changes it have them which wrecks the URL) http://S.T.A.L.K.E.R.wikia.com/wiki/Freedom. The spray is the Freedom wolf head thing with some photoshopping done to make it work with Gmod. It took me forever to get it to show up properly (it kept having a weird opaque gray background instead of being transparent and I also had no idea how to make it transparent so I had to read like 9 guides and none of them worked and then it just randomly started working) so I hope you like it.

That works too. I think maybe the game adds the .vtf and .vmf stuff after you import everything, I just looked at my Gmod folder and saw it there so....

Well I took the image of the Freedom logo from a google image search, editted it in Photoshop with a plugin that does the transparent alpha layers (so it would have a transparent background and not a stark white one), saved that as a tga file and then used another program to convert that to a vtf. I don't remember what program it was though and I had to reformat my cmputer recently because the bootsector of my hard drive failed so I no longer have the program. IF you google "Photoshop .vtf" or soemthing like that you'll probably find it.
