Duty

A paramilitary group known for its discipline, whose members live according to a strict code. Duty members are the only group who refuse to trade unique items from the Zone with the outside world. According to rumors, all artifacts found by the group are passed on to scientists. Its members consider protecting the outside world from the Zone's dangers their primary objective. Most of the group's operations concern destroying monsters, hence Duty raids often save normal S.T.A.L.K.E.Rs from serious trouble. The faction has long been at war with Freedom.

704th "God's Hand" Regiment

The 704th is one of the first regiments formed inside of the Duty faction. It is one of the most advanced, and highly-trained regiments in the Duty faction. Lead now by Colonel Shannon "Red" Rachel Moor, the regiment now holds more territories within the Zone than any of the other Duty regiments. The 704th "God's Hand" Regiment is mainly in charge of Zone defense, and stabilization. Their job is to control the Loner population, and enforce the laws the Duty command staff has created. God's Hand consists of five companies, one of which is a special, surgical strike force, another is an armor unit, and one is an honor unit, and the other is an air unit. The God's Hand regiment mainly focus' on the Western Military traditions, and follows closely with the United States Army's organizational structure, and tactics.

Only two regiments exist, four companies of  160 men each. The 302nd "Thor's Chariot" consists of only 300 men, and three companies.

Delta Company

An elite Company consisting of the most highly trained, and most experienced individuals in the Duty faction. Delta company was chosen personally by Colonel Teyar during his leadership of the 704th to be the Regimental Commander's honor guard. To this day, each new Regimental Commander has stayed consistant, and true to Teyar's choice, allowing Delta company to remain as the Regiment's Honor Unit. Members of Delta company must all go through rigorous, physically demanding training that no other unit in the Duty faction must endure. Ontop of that, the majority of Delta company's members all have prior military experience.

The commander of Delta company is Captain Sergiy Petroska

Rules
_________________________________________________

Most of these are already server rules (Follow those to the pixel), and some are just my own rules. Some are guidelines, but really, I want everybody to think about these while they play. I try not to be terribly strict, but I'm worried about the server looking good to the outside, and I'm worried about everybody's fun factor. I understand we make mistakes, which is why I'm very lenient. But if rule breaking becomes a habit, I WILL take action.

1: Respect your peers
2: Do not abuse flags
2b- Do not give away, save, or duplicate weapons for other purposes other than Duty RP.
2c- Do not give away, save, or duplicate suits for other purposes other than Duty RP.
3: Do not DM (Failure to comply after exactly THREE warnings will result in you being reported to admins. They can choose your punishment)
3b- Do not mass kill people at spawn.
3c- Do not respawn and jump back into a fire fight.
3d- Do not kill for better weapons.
3e- Do not kill without Role Play
4: Try to use /me's as much as you can to enhance RP. Not required. (More of a suggestion)
5: Follow orders from IC superiors. (IC superiors are myself, and other leaders in the faction. We can not, however, tell you to do things outside of Role Play.)
6: Help new players who join the server. (Part of being in a faction means responsibility, and while we all may not have a lot of it, one of the only and biggest responsibilities we have is to help, and introduce new players. Help them enjoy the server, and introduce them to the many factions our server has to offer. Get them into the RP!)
7: Do not engage in rage flame fests. (This can't be helped, on some occasions. We're all human, and we all act on impulse from time to time. Just try to keep this to a minimum. Take the high-road. If I see any of my Duty members bitching, or whining in OOC about silly things, I will take action. Whether it means ICly running around the map, or doing 100 crouch-ups, or if it becomes chronic, maybe even going so far as to removing you from the faction. I do this because I'm trying to keep the work load to a minimum for the admins. They have enough on their shoulders as it is. Let's help them out, and solve issues without rage.)
8: Crossing the checkpoint into Freedom's side of the Zone will enable Freedom members on that side of the Zone to TK you for 3 hours. They needn't RP it, all they need to do is shoot you, and you are not allowed to log onto your character for 3 hours.**
9: During official, authorized faction raids/battles, if you die, you are TK'ed for 3 hours. In some cases, you can get a PI, or PK.

TK = Temporary Kill

PI = Permanent Injury

PK = Permanent Kill

** If you just spawn in, you'll be exempt from the TK
