I've only recently taken over Duty, and to improve the quality of Duty roleplay and it's interactions with other factions and loners, I'd like to know how the community feels about the current status and future of Duty. This includes all of the changes I've made, such as the two-squad based ranking system.

Please share any recommendations or complaints you have regarding Duty. Even complaints on the way Duty was run in the past will help make sure that those mistakes will not be made again and improve the future of Duty.

So everyone that was an officer has to re apply?

It's the 32nd Infantry Regiment now, not the 505th, by the way.

The entire faction was wiped. All previous members, if they are seeking reenlistment, must reapply. Any prior command staff will be automatically accepted, but must still reapply to provide some record of their application.

Ranks will be, for the most part, wiped. Command staff may skip Private, but any other applicants will be given Private.

NCOs will automatically be accepted as Corporal. Officers will automatically accepted as Sergeants.

However, all ranks are currently empty, which means promotions will come quick for those who show ability.

I don't exactly oppose you being the new leader, but I do oppose Silver just PK'ing all of the previous Dutiers, and stripping myself, Rencamo, and Vengeance of our leadership powers.

Anyway, you might wanna open apps now, and edit the roster, since it still says "please inform Hotstarr via PM on the forums."

I can't help Silver's decision to PK everyone.

I've decided to up the automatic ranks for NCOs and Officers, however. NCOs will now automatically receive Corporal, and Officers will now automatically receive Sergeant.

Great.. Why did I remove the damn application from the computer? Now I must go create a new one..
Anyway, I don't really like that you must re-apply, especially when you thought you won't be needing it again.

Ive given the poll a 4, it's not going to be a perfect future, but a postive one it will be, Hockey, your doing well !

I didn't expect to receive two ones, or such a low average of 3.1, but I'm glad to have gotten more 4's than anything else.

The application is pretty brief. The part everyone blows out of proportion is the character backstory. I only expect a paragraph.

Well, I'm hoping for the future to be approved that Duty does more in character applications like in the real S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

We do incharacter applications as well. The current members were automatically accepted because they were in the 704th and it wouldn't be fair to them if they were thrown to the side.

Actually, I REQUIRED in character applications for people who aren't ex-duty. I'll explain later.

I gave a two, the only people I see on are hottstar.

You apparently aren't on at the same times. We had five people on yesterday at one time, three were on for most of the day.
