Black Mesa Roleplay
-Introduction-
Well this idea was produced by someone I used to know who I decided
to leave for certain reasons and I helped with some of the idea's inside it
so I feel I can give this idea away to HGN since I would love to see us all try
it out. It's start's out in of course the Black Mesa story way before the 'Resonance
Cascade' event with Gordon Freeman where young and old scientists were eager
to learn more about the world also having a contract with the military they had to create
ground-breaking weapons that the military would use in future warfare. (We could possibly
twist the story by saying the scientists have already found Xen and are secretly making an exploration
group to stay in for day and come back out with enough research, Gives more idea's for groups and such.)
-Why This Idea?-
There are plenty of Half-Life fans who would be eager to play such a server having the chance to
role-play the facility like never before and I think with Silver's script this could be a massive hit for us.
It includes plenty of complex role-play situations involving science and possibly other idea's when coming to
new groups and such.
-How Would It Be Made?
The original Half-Life maps are compatible with Garry's Mod and would be able to be connected together
with ease by just using simple hallways, elevators or blast door's. As for models we could either head-hack
kleiner and re-skin the suit's for a variety or just use community models on Garrysmod.org and the same could
possibly apply for the HEV suit and such.
So please take this into consideration.
I don't think we're in a position to start any other servers right now.

Wouldn't say it would have to be right now, Another idea really.
..Just no. We've already got four servers, and barely anybody plays on them. People thought they would be hits too, but look at them now.

Srp is fine, so is frp. Crussaria has failed it's revival because of certain admins lack-of-commitment. Half Life 2 has not taken off yet as judas has been absent.

I think Silverknight just wants the servers we have now to be more active.
Bugger it, just make a WH40k server, and we'll have visitors by the hundreds. But yeah, on topic this looks sorta cool.
