The CryEngine 3 is not a console based engine, it's a brand new engine based off the CryEngine 2 that adds more optimization, better AI and physics, more flexibility (console development), and better visuals.

Before I say this, I HAVE a Playstation 3 AND an Xbox 360. The games I've played for PS3 are most of the time already on the other consoles. The only decent PS3 game I've played was Killzone 2....BUUUUTTTTT, I can see the PS3 may have a bright future, especially with this CryEngine, I can't wait for inFamous. Xbox 360 did much better in it's beginning lifetime than the PS3 did, I dunno guess I'm butthurt about the PS3 and Xbox war. Why can't we live in peace?Also, don't even speak of Metal Gear, I hate that game with a passion.
