Vault 10 Procedures

Decontamination/Entry Procedure:
1] The person outside uses the intercom outside the vault to identify, and request entry.
2] If authorized to enter, a security officer on the inside will open the vault door, allowing the person entry.
3] The door is closed behind them, and the person will be checked for any weapons or contraband (chems, food, etc.).
  -Any contraband will be confiscated.
   -If an outsider, all weapons and contraband will be returned upon departure.
   -If a vault dweller, all weapons and chems will be taken to the armory, or destroyed.
4] The person will then be cleaned off, and allowed through the next door.
  -Final step for vault dwellers.
5] The outsider will be escorted directly to the Overseer, who will speak with the outsider.
6] After speaking with the Overseer, the outsider will be escorted back to the vault entryway.
7] The security officer returns any weapons or contraband taken upon arrival.
8] The outsider leaves, and the vault door is closed.



Code Yellow Lockdown Procedure:
1] A code yellow lockdown is broadcast over the intercom.
2] A security officer is placed outside the vault entryway.
3] All traffic in and out of the vault is suspended until the lockdown is lifted.




Code Orange Lockdown Procedure:
1] A code orange lockdown is broadcast over the intercom.
2] All traffic in and out of the vault is suspended.
3] All vault dwellers are escorted by security officers into the elevator, and into the second level.
  - 1 or more security officers are assigned to protect the Overseer.
4] A security officer is placed at the elevator on level two, while other security officers patrol levels 1 and 3 until the lockdown is lifted.


Code Red Lockdown Procedure:
1] A code red lockdown is broadcast over the intercom.
2] All traffic in and out of the vault is suspended.
3] All vault dwellers are escorted by security officers into the elevator, and into the second level.
  -1 or more security officers are assigned to protect the Overseer.
4] All vault dwellers are confined to quarters, and security officers patrol all levels until the lockdown is lifted.



Code Blue Search Procedure:
1] A code blue search is broadcast over the intercom.
2] All traffic in and out of the vault is suspended.
3] All vault dwellers are escorted by security officers into the elevator, and into level two.
4] All vault dwellers line up against the wall, while security officers search the rooms for contraband.
  -A security officer will also search the vault dwellers for contraband on their person.
5] Once the search is complete, the code blue search is lifted, those found with contraband will be punished accordingly.


Code Black Procedure:
1] A code black is broadcast on the intercom.
2] All traffic in and out of the vault is suspended.
3] All vault dwellers are escorted by security officers into the elevator, and into level 3.
4] The elevator and vault door are locked via the Overseer's console.
5] Security officers retrieve heavy weapons from the vault armory.
  -Small firearms are distributed amongst the vault dwellers if need be.
6] Those with firearms are stationed in front of the elevator and are instructed to fire upon anything emerging from it until the code black is lifted.
