I'll add to this accordingly.
Q: Do I have to make new characters?
A: No. Though if we change to a new canon you will have to revise the character for the new timeline. Just recycle the character. I'm not forcing you to make them disappear. Just redo them.
Q: Is Jake a FORP admin again?
A: No. I have no idea why it says Trial Operator in his name. He does however happen to know a fair extent about what I'm doing though. Fixed - Blake
Q: When will you finish the vote?
A: Probably by next weekend, like the 12th. If Fallout 1 and 2 hold the majority of votes, overwhelming both Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas combined, it'll be a very strong influence in whether or not we change canons. In the end the choice is still mine, but I'm not the kind of admin who likes to act against the beliefs of the community.
Q: When will the new canon actually happen?
A: Soon as we get everything straightened out.
Q: Do I get my items back?
A: No. That defeats the point of a wipe. I'll be a little lenient with items immediately after the wipe just so I can get the economy going, but I'm not giving them out like candy. We screwed that up last time on an otherwise perfect server reboot.
Q: Are T-flags returning?
A: Yes. I realize the importance of having a black hole for caps to fall into. Otherwise we have hyper inflation like we did last time. This is still in the works. A trading company like Step Jaw might be run by a high ranking admin and they will ICly and OOCly handle and supply most traders in the area. There can be other traders but they will have to purchase trading rights (for, let's just say for example, 2000 caps) and purchase items from their depot to sell. Example being, a trader goes to Depot and buys 5 rifles for 6000 caps, sells them for 2000 caps each = 10000 = traders profit of 4000 caps. This is just an example prices have not been discussed or thought about yet.
Q: Why do you think the wipe is a good idea?
A: Long story short, STALKER RP once experienced a similar problem where no regulation on items combined with no regulations on traders combined with no T-menu combined with most admins (including Blake and I) being too liberal with items combined with donator flags not working properly combined with admins who didn't know better overpowering their faction all led to fuck up everything. It's easier to just wipe the whole thing out and start over with the proper rules we should have started in the first place with but didn't think of.

:| Don't confuse people, it's in my forum title not name. I set it when I had Illuminati status which wasn't returned after FORP forum access was taken away from me.
Added stuff.
A question - why do you think that wipe will help?

A question - why do you think that wipe will help?
Because
Blake and I were too damn liberal with giving out items and shit, we had no regulation on OP'd items so whoever could afford it could buy it, and now everyone is moaning and crying about how people are overpowered while people who have the items whine when we take away their stuff after putting the regulations in place.
This combined with the lack of trader flags has completely screwed the economy, plus we also had problems with donator flags where donators started with nothing--so I had to do it myself, thus fucking the economy further.
At this point it's so messed up and players who are part of the problem are so numerous and difficult to get online with that we're better off nuking the whole thing and starting with the regulations we
should have had in the first place but neglected to think of in our haste and excitement of a revived FORP.
What year will it be in (This may solve the Enclave problem depending on the year)
How far west will it be?

How far west is it going to be set.
In Nevada probably and it shouldn't be set in California at all. I don't know the exact year, but it must range 2162-2240
^ What Jake said.
This is assuming of course we do make the wipe. As of this moment, the votes stand 14 for 1/2 and 11 for later canons. I've been saying that 1 and 2 canon would have to defeat both votes for 3 and New Vegas combined. So far it's maintaining a small lead, which could be enough to sway me if that lead is there by next weekend.
By trader flags do you mean that you did not have enough traders or you just did not know what the flags are.

I'm not giving the T-menu to EVERYONE. This isn't Dark RP where you can buy whatever the hell you want.
Your still not getting what I said lol, I said what did you mean about the trader flags.. I mean I have the entire list of what each permission is on FORP and I think you should or do.
Becuase you said the lack of trader flags.
Whens tis' wipe happening now?
