| Author: Dr. Issac Brull Subject: Kranzer Message: Today studying in the lab I heard knocking and a voice. i answered the intercom to hear a stalker talking about a female who had been attacked or captured by kranzer and survived. they said that here left eyeball had been devoured, she had claw marks all over her back, marks from a bloodsuckers tendrills on her leg (kranzer possibly took the female from a bloodsucker), she also had bite marks on her neck along with a `green liquid` they had described it thick and green. they told me she is weak and kranzer slid her into freedom dom base clothes ripped off. sharing my concern for the female. But it's only been my second day on the job and I have already been held hostage and witnessed two murders. All of this happening inside the bunker! If we do not up security around here I will be forced to retire from this occupation. Edit: Okay... So good news, I found out how the bloodsuckers came in. There was a blowout, and they came in with the stalkers. One of them was a mature bloodsucker, the other was an infant. Anyway, I took pictures of the event with my PDA's cammera. And I will upload them on to the network soon. But the youngest one, stalkers call him "Twitch" is now tagged. So I will be looking forward to studying this specimen. We also now have a company of mercs working for us, so I don't think security is a problem anymore. > |

To my amazement, they managed to CAPTURE the beast alive! We brought it in for examination and observation, and I have the full report on my computer. We even fed it a packet of fresh blood given by another STALKER. Sadly, my efforts to tag and release it were in vain. It started acting up during an emission and I decided it wasn't a good idea to release the creature back into the wild. The military dispatched it and I collected what samples I could salvage. Maybe one day we can observe Bloodsuckers in the wild, safely...> |

The military arrived at the bunker, but that did not deter the bandits in the least who assaulted it regardless--to no avail. They're acting more like blood thirsty psychopaths than your average bandit. They won't be scared off easily... Needless to say, the firearm the military gave to me was very useful. One bandit was also killed in the conflict. In other news, thanks to my emission predictions and the help of another scientist prior to this attack, we were able to record an ENTIRE EMISSION from start to finish! You may wish to see the results for yourself, however... This is more than just a simple spike in radiation, I fear.> |

Anderson Neil> Title:<Emission killed several STALKERs outside our base.> Message:<I'm not sure what exactly was going on, but I observed a group of four STALKERs inside the perimeter of the compound, all with weapons out while an apparent friend of theirs whom I am familiar with and find trustworthy was inside with me. There was some sort of conflict going on between three of the STALKERs including an exo, and one rookie who they were after. Well, I knew an emission was coming, and I tried to warn them to leave. They ignored the warning, and because of their weapon use and recent bandit attacks, it was decided to deny them access. They were given multiple unheeded warnings. When the emission struck they tried to take cover in a nearby concrete structure to the left of our base, next to some pipes, but it was in vain. I discovered four bodies after the emission. However, this has some good news. I procured a Goldfish and Sparkler off two of the STALKERs and took flesh samples off their corpses for study after they were exposed to the emissions. It would appear that, somehow, there is little radioactive damage--but their nervous system was completely fried. We need to look into these emissions. They are not just radiation spikes. Alas, no one ever said science wasn't unpleasant sometimes... EDIT: On another note, I strongly recommend bullpup and shotgun style weapons and nothing else. I purchased an Eliminator which proved to save my life during the bandit assault yesterday. Igor however is concerned that our weapons may frighten some STALKERs. Personally, I don't think they care. I've never once heard a complaint except from Igor's concerns.> |

Well, as of today, DUTY has broken that agreement, due to the fact that he ran into the area outside of the bunker and captured two members of the Freedom faction as I was speaking to them myself. I have informed the leader of Freedom about the event and we, as of now, have severed all neutrality agreements with the DUTY faction. Do not try and get the impression that this means we are now hostile in any sort of way, it was simply what the leader of DUTY wished for.
