Anderson Neil> Title:<Emission killed several STALKERs outside our base.> Message:<I'm not sure what exactly was going on, but I observed a group of four STALKERs inside the perimeter of the compound, all with weapons out while an apparent friend of theirs whom I am familiar with and find trustworthy was inside with me. There was some sort of conflict going on between three of the STALKERs including an exo, and one rookie who they were after. Well, I knew an emission was coming, and I tried to warn them to leave. They ignored the warning, and because of their weapon use and recent bandit attacks, it was decided to deny them access. They were given multiple unheeded warnings. When the emission struck they tried to take cover in a nearby concrete structure to the left of our base, next to some pipes, but it was in vain. I discovered four bodies after the emission. However, this has some good news. I procured a Goldfish and Sparkler off two of the STALKERs and took flesh samples off their corpses for study after they were exposed to the emissions. It would appear that, somehow, there is little radioactive damage--but their nervous system was completely fried. We need to look into these emissions. They are not just radiation spikes. Alas, no one ever said science wasn't unpleasant sometimes... EDIT: On another note, I strongly recommend bullpup and shotgun style weapons and nothing else. I purchased an Eliminator which proved to save my life during the bandit assault yesterday. Igor however is concerned that our weapons may frighten some STALKERs. Personally, I don't think they care. I've never once heard a complaint except from Igor's concerns.>

Well, as of today, DUTY has broken that agreement, due to the fact that he ran into the area outside of the bunker and captured two members of the Freedom faction as I was speaking to them myself. I have informed the leader of Freedom about the event and we, as of now, have severed all neutrality agreements with the DUTY faction. Do not try and get the impression that this means we are now hostile in any sort of way, it was simply what the leader of DUTY wished for. As always, any questions or comments relating to this are to be posted in the network.>

I have had numerous emails and reports from those who wish to be kept anonymous about your lack of confidence regarding Professor Vangraffs Leadership. I would like to remind him his contract can soon be terminated and someone else appointed. I have also seen that you have been having some minor problems with the DUTY faction. I am very interested to hear more about this issue and would be happy to co-ordinate with the Ukrainian Military forces to come to some arrangement. Furthermore i would like to know where the supply money i sent you a couple of months ago has been invested. You have all received a 50,000 Euro Bonus for this years work inside the zone, you are doing an outstanding job for science.

Recipient "All Ecologist"(Singular intended as a plural) is wrong, to be grammatically correct it should say "All Ecologists".

Subject: Extended Zone trip

   I find myself growing increasingly tired with basic lab research, studying that which others bring to our labs. I seek to embark on an extended trip farther away from the Bunker, and use my own training that I've picked up from occasionally going outside with some of our colleagues. I know what the outside of the bunker is like from those trips, and the insides of the lab are getting so repetitive, the work days dumping me into a rut without any care for my personal feelings, and the Zone can free me from this rut.
   I'm sure you know that I graduated top in my class, and I know a significant amount more than.. certain people working in our bunker. Not only do I wish to increase the total information in our database, I also seek some solitude from certain people in our bunker. Living with the same people constantly really 'Gets upon one's nerves' sometimes. I feel as if working with my current colleagues is slowing down my advancing in research.
   Needless to say, a few days or weeks away from the bunker to do my research in peace, coupled with the fact that I have received some weapons training prior to coming to the Zone, I believe that I will be able to get more work done outside of the bunker rather than inside. I've also met a STALKER today, who calls himself 'Crosshair' who offered to protect me. He's apparently some sort of Zone Veteran, having been here for a while.
   Please allow me to fulfill this one wish, Professor. My work output will increase threefold if you simply allow me to do this work. I have already arranged much with some STALKERs, and I will be able to get much more work done outside of the bunker. The only thing you must provide me with is some equipment - Medical equipment, and some personal defense weapon, such as a CZ VZ 61, perhaps?
