Stop banning people for using BC for OOC when the OOC has been disabled, the simple point here is don't set the OOC delay to some unreachable number, it's rediculous.
^This, I agree sometimes it using the delay is useful but when its... "$*#&0182374(@&$&\' No, you overkilled. For flaming make it 500 after you believe its done, take it off or lower it.
It should be set to 30 seconds max, anything more then it gets stupid, ooc isn't a whine all your life, it's a place to chat casually.

Ugh, like i've said for months now, 20-35- delay is perfect, makes it hard to argue when you have to wait before you can flame again, but still allows care-free chat.
I LOVE being kick for the same reason as Dom was BANNED (yes thats right, it was undone so doesn't matter)

I can agree with you there.
I will always set the time to 60 or 120, depending on the amount of members on the server. I don't want people logging into our server seeing a chat fest going on. I want them to see serious STALKER RP, that's it. And in fact, that's all you should be doing. You have SF to chat with each other, and eventually Silver will get the PM system back in there. There's also LOOC. But OOC should not be cluttered up.
If you need to contact admins, use /a.
I can't really agree. As much as you people will call me a "loyalist" or a "suckup" I still can't agree. People talk about useless, random things in OOC anyways.

I see that stuff way to much. It's basically cheating the server by using Broadcast for OOC. I'm not going to say anything to offend anyone, but some people really do abuse OOC. It has that limit for a reason, you should be glad that the admins don't raise the OOC limit to 5 minutes like TnB does.

I can understand OOC needs to be used for serious roleplay help and all of that, but a occassional casual chat, doesn't kill anyone does it? A simple discussing about, say a admin is leaving or about a video game off topic, really wont set off bombs IC will it?

I have seen people abuse OOC before, I would say that they should lower the OOC limit if it wasn't for the fact when I am RPing I see a million OOC messages pop up.

Occasionally would be fine, but sometimes it doesn't work like that.
Also, I do agree that they shouldn't ban people, but perhaps just shut them up for a while. It seems to work when admins say "STFU". :P
