Everyone in military has orders to confiscate any and all useful items. Upon confiscating these things, you are to turn them into a CO immediately, UNLESS instructed otherwise by someone with actual authority or deemed unreasonable (I.E Suit looting). If you are found or reported holding onto a weapon ICly, you will indeed suffer consequences. Rules will be broken such as disobeying orders, and you will be dealt with harshly.
Also, if you are not armed with appropriate weapons, (Primary weapon, Secondary, Ammo, Flash light, Radio) then report to a commander and they'll deal with it.
As in, if you find a gun lying around on the ground, take it and give it to your CO.
If your capturing a stalker, and you take his gun, Turn it into your CO.
When you turn these into us, we distribute them to whoever needs it, or if everyones armed we store it safely in case we happen to lose anything.
Don't go randomly running around grabbing every passing stalkers guns. Were not bandits. But like our regular routine when we arrest a stalker and search him for gear.

Awds has recently raised a good point, we're not corrupt enough. To follow Stalker canon I suggest we do what the Military ought not to be doing.
We should be selling information about Stalkers to bandits, they're practically doing our job for us. We should be getting bribed, we should be lazing around in bars like the Spetsnaz in the Duty base as seen in in Shadow of Chernobyl, when they should be on patrol.
Who gives a shit, you're getting payed either way, and it's easy to make up some shit over the radio when the Colonel calls for a sit-rep.
The troopers should be somewhat corrupt too. If an officer isn't in the area then it's time to take cash from Stalkers getting too close to the base. They may appear to be threatening him from a reasonable distance, but he's asking for 750 rubles instead.
The lust for bribe taking would be sparked by your shite pay, this would go for members of all ranks.
I don't think that the bribe-taking should be constant however. Troopers asking for bribes when a commanding officer is around is unrealistic, same for Officers when the Colonel / Lieutenant Colonel is around.
I'd say around 30 - 40% of the Stalker encounters could be bribes, the rest are the standard 'Gtfo, Stalker, before I become trigger happy'.
As for the information selling, we can do all sorts. We could sell information to Duty about Freedom, we could sell false information to rookies (lol), we could sell information to bandits about Stalkers. There are quite a few possibilites, the factions I mentioned in this paragraph are vague generalizations, we can sell to specific organizations in SRP as well.
Edit: You most likely wont be THAT corrupt to the point of being a lazy pack of drunks under Dooms command. - Iron

I want to make it clear with everyone that we are not stalkers. When we go on patrols, we are not to go hunting for stashes. If you are alone aswell, don't go hunting for stashes. They are meant for stalkers doing missions and stuff like that. Its okay if you are walking along and you happen to find one by accident and loot its contents and turn them over to me or doom, but don't make a habit of it.
Bottom line, Don't go stash hunting on military characters.
Edit: Looking for assets is fine, dont go off solo and blatantly looking under every rock, corner, and tree stump in the Zone. -Doom

Military leaders, are now allowed to Three day TK anyone VIA sending them out of the zone.
The time of TK may be adjusted depending on the case. IE if someone is being an Ornery cunt bag it may be extended to a week with permission from SV's or above.
This makes for Fear RP.
